Thirty-three

Upon hearing this, the little demon immediately stopped howling and put on a fawning expression. "I know that none of you three are ordinary people. I only have one request: take me with you."

"Take you with me?"

"Yes, yes, you're not familiar with this place, are you? I'm a native of the Abyss, I can definitely help you. And I can give you all the points you want."

"Why?" I asked, puzzled.

"Just take me with you when you leave. I want to see the world up there. They say it's bright everywhere and has different colors. I want to see it," the little demon said, her face full of longing.

After much consideration, I decided to agree to Xiao Yao's request. This Xiao Yao doesn't seem like a bad person, and given the current complexities of the Abyss, a guide is indeed needed.

"Alright, gentlemen, you wait here, I'll go buy you a compass right away." The little demon was overjoyed to hear this, his tiger-like face crinkling with smiles.

"By the way, my name is Jinyu." Xiaoyao had only taken half a step when she turned back, leaving behind this sentence before running away.

The little demon's name is quite nice, Jin Yu, but it doesn't really match his round tiger head.

"My lord, this is inappropriate," Luo said, frowning as he watched the demon run away.

"I think it's great, don't worry, Luo. Jin Yu can tell it's a good demon, its spiritual energy is clean and not bloody."

Luo nodded somewhat reluctantly upon hearing this, "I'll still keep a close eye on him and be more careful."

I nodded in agreement. I've figured out Luo's personality; he's like a serious and proper master craftsman.

Jin Yu returned quickly, handing me a compass that resembled a mortal's compass.

"Little Demon, no, Jin Yu, thank you." I took the gift and thanked her, as I wasn't used to the name Jin Yu yet.

"You're welcome, just don't forget to take me with you."

Now that I have identification tools, holding a compass in one hand and a map in the other, I can finally understand it.

We are currently in the southwest of the abyss. I have five targets to eliminate this time. The closest one is the Red Oni living in the miasma forest to the northeast.

Yu even provided detailed annotations about the Red Oni's weaknesses, habits, and sphere of influence. But how did Yu know all this so clearly? Had Yu been to the Abyss before?

"Our first target is the Crimson Oni of the Miasma Forest." I put down the map and looked around. Our small team of three had become four people, no, it was three people plus a tiger. This huge tiger head was really hard to call human. Forgive me for being in this strange world for so long, I still can't accept this strange appearance.

"I've made up my mind!" Everyone listened intently, waiting for my next words. "We should first give our team an awesome name!"

"That's it?" Everyone looked speechless. Luo was very composed and controlled his expression perfectly, but I could still see a crack in Luo's otherwise perfect expression.

"What do you know? A good team name embodies our team spirit and can be a great encouragement to us."

"A domineering name? Then let's call ourselves the most domineering!" Feng Su said seriously, resting her chin on her hand.

"I..." I rubbed my forehead.

"Isn't it awesome?" Feng Su looked smug, his face practically screaming, "Praise me, praise me!"

"Never mind, forget I said anything." I immediately abandoned this foolish plan. After all, Feng Su is just a bird, so you can't expect too much.

Let's go!

"Isn't that good? So you call us the best? We're the best in the world...? Master? Master! Master, don't go! Isn't the team name important?"
