Night fell.
Su Diandian sneaked out of Chu Kuo Gate.
Chu Kuo had already sensed someone outside; such sneaky behavior must be an attack by an evil cultivator.
He threw a pebble.
The pebble flew accurately through the narrow crack in the door, striking Su Diandian squarely in a vital spot.
"Ah!" Su Diandian gasped softly, looking down at the large, bleeding hole in her chest, and chuckled to herself.
She looked at Chu Kuo, who was peeking out from the door, and said teasingly, "Elder Chu, why don't you put in a little more effort?"
When Chu Kuo saw her face clearly, he was first startled, then his gaze fixed on the bloody hole in her chest.
"Tsk tsk, the immortal body, how enviable."
"Don't be envious yet, let me in first," Su Diandian said helplessly.
Chu Kuo stretched out his hand, "No, wait until you stop bleeding. If you dirty my house and can't clean it properly, I'll have to spend money to buy a new one."
“Ha…” Su Diandian’s lips twitched slightly, and she knowingly took out a spirit stone and handed it over.
Upon seeing the spirit stone, Chu Kuo immediately opened the door and let her in.
In just a few steps, the bloody holes on Su Diandian's body had completely healed.
She rubbed her forehead and sighed, "Why is it so hard to die?"
Chu Kuo said speechlessly, "The path of cultivation is long and arduous, and those who ascend to immortality are extremely rare. Countless people spend their entire lives pursuing the path of immortality, yet you seek death every day. It's simply incomprehensible."
Su Diandian sat in the chair, resting her chin on her hands, and said slowly, "You don't understand. I don't really want to die. I just want to go home."
Chu Kuo looked puzzled. "You were raised on the Spirit Island Peak, which guards your life, since you were a child. Isn't that your home?"
"How do you explain this?" Su Diandian scratched her head. "In short, I don't want to go back to Lingyu Peak, this home. I want to go back to another world, understand?"
Chu Kuo stroked his chin: "Could it be that you come from the Celestial Realm?"
"No! Never mind." Su Diandian waved her hand. "Let's get down to business."
"What important matter?" Chu Kuo looked at her with suspicion. "Don't tell me you want me to kill you. Even the Heavenly Punishment Sword couldn't kill you, so I certainly can't."
"I didn't expect anything from you."
Su Diandian quickly explained her thoughts, emphasizing the key point at the end, "I'll leave you a will; if successful, the spirit stone mine will all belong to you."
Chu Kuo put his hands in his sleeves and said with a sneer, "I don't think it will work. The Purple Gold Lightning won't kill you, and the Heavenly Punishment Sword won't kill you either. I don't think your idea will succeed."
“However…” he changed the subject, “I’ve been thinking about it, and if you don’t want this immortal body, you might as well offer yourself up.”
Offering oneself as a sacrifice? What does that mean?
Su Diandian blinked, waiting for the rest of the story.
Chu Kuo patiently explained:
"Many old monsters are nearing the end of their lifespan but have not yet broken through. The kind ones accept their fate, while the unwilling ones choose to possess another's body."
"Your immortal body makes you an excellent choice for them to possess."
Su Diandian was thrilled. "Elder Chu, your idea is brilliant!"
Why didn't she think of such a good idea before?
As long as her body is taken over and another soul inhabits it, wouldn't she be able to return to Earth?
She cheered excitedly: "Where can I find such an old monster who needs to be possessed? I'm going to find him right now."
"Who would willingly seek death?" Chu Kuo looked at her as if she were an idiot.
Indeed, people often fail to appreciate what they have.
Looking at her eager expression, he sighed and said, "It's not as easy as you think. Few people know the method of possession. Perhaps we can try it at the Poison Doctor Valley."
"How do I get to Poison Doctor Valley?" Su Diandian took out a handful of spirit stones and handed them over.
Chu Kuo smiled, his eyes crinkling, and after taking the spirit stone, he gave the answer: "I don't know, the Poison Doctor Valley doesn't allow people to enter."
"Huh?" Su Diandian snatched the spirit stone back. "Goodbye then, I'm going to find someone who knows the way."
"No, please!" Chu Kuo quickly tried to stop him. "Although I don't know the way, I have a way to get there."
"Third brother! Third brother! Is someone in your room?" Jiang Ziheng suddenly pushed the door open and entered, his face turning cold the moment he saw Su Diandian.
"What are you doing here, you wretched creature? In the dead of night..." he said, then suddenly his eyes widened. "You wouldn't be thinking of seducing the third brother, would you?"
"No!" Chu Kuo quickly covered her mouth. "Second brother, you can't just say things like that. This girl isn't afraid of death, but I'm terrifying."
Jiang Ziheng brushed his hand away, pointed at Su Diandian and cursed, "You despicable and immoral wretch who betrays his master and ancestors."
"What kind of bewitching drug did you give Lao Si? How could he agree to you and Si Ji Huang holding a wedding ceremony at Lingyu Peak?"
"This is absolutely ridiculous!"
"Third brother, let's go and talk to the sect leader about this."
What a noisy old man.
Su Diandian stepped forward, grabbed his index finger, and said with a smile, "Who said I'm marrying Sijihuang?"
