Huo Minxue, whose mother was worried that he wouldn't be able to find a wife, didn't go to work overtime early in the morning. Instead, he took a detour and went to Ruan Wushuang's shop.

"You really aren't afraid of people at all."
The kitten was too young to eat many things, and he hadn't prepared any, so he could only carry the kitten into the store to see if he could find something to eat for it.
There is a small courtyard behind the shop, which is very well maintained and the kitchen is located behind the courtyard.
Huo Minxue was disappointed as soon as he entered; the kitchen was cleaner than his face, clearly indicating that it had never been used.
Huo Minxue lowered her head and gently rubbed the kitten in her arms.
"Doesn't she ever eat at home?"
"Meow..." It was unclear whether the kitten was responding or being affectionate.
Huo Minxue's heart softened when he saw it like this.
I had no choice but to take it outside to buy some milk powder. When I got back, I boiled some water, made a small bowl of milk, and put it to the kitten's mouth.
The kitten sniffed it first, then stuck out its tongue and gently licked it.
Once they confirmed that the food was edible, they moved much faster.
The small bowl of milk was drunk up in an instant.
"Meow……"
Even its cries have become much stronger.
Huo Minxue put the kitten back into the cardboard box.
"Be good at home, I'll come see you after I get off work."
Huo Minxue packed her things and took one last look at the kitten, which had fallen asleep again after eating its fill.
Huo Minxue chuckled softly, then turned and walked towards the door.

When Huo Minxue arrived at work, he was almost an hour late.
"Senior, you're late? Did the sun rise in the west today?" the junior students in the lab teased.
"Something came up, I'm sorry," Huo Minxue apologized.
"Don't joke with your senior brother, he'll take it seriously," a junior sister said, standing up for Huo Minxue.
"Peilan, we only said one thing to our senior brother and you got so worked up. Are you that worried about our senior brother?" Everyone's attention turned to Huang Peilan.
"What nonsense are you talking about? I just saw that Senior Brother Minxue has been working too hard lately. He's always the first one to arrive at the lab and the last one to leave. It's okay if he comes a little late today." Huang Peilan's face showed a bit of shyness, and she kept glancing in Huo Minxue's direction out of the corner of her eye.
