Chapter 31 Shock (1/2)

This doesn't make sense!

This scene simply cannot be explained by ancient science!

This was completely beyond everyone's understanding and comprehension.

For a few seconds, everyone's mind went blank. When they came to their senses, General Zhou had already pulled out a second grenade and threw it far away at the group of suicide soldiers.

The surviving suicide bombers watched helplessly as the grenade flew high into the air in a parabolic arc, then drew closer and closer to them, finally crashing to the ground with a bang.

In that very instant.

The whole world seemed to be quiet.

“Boom—”

"ah!!!"

The sound of a grenade hitting the ground and exploding.

Accompanied by heart-wrenching screams.

The sound echoed throughout the mountain valley.

Thirteen was caught in the aftershocks of the explosion and was thrown two meters away. His arm was burned and ulcerated by an unknown gust of air. He shook his head violently and found that he could no longer hear anything.

For a short period of time, I kept hearing a ringing sound in my ears.

It took several breaths before his hearing gradually returned.

Looking up again, my blurred vision began to clear, and I saw limbs and broken bones all around me.

For the first time, those assassins trained by the royal family to be cold-blooded killers showed fear and dread in their eyes. It was their fear of the unknown weapon; they were actually afraid!

"Scatter quickly."

Among the assassins, someone shouted at the top of their lungs, "This thing has a limited range, don't gather together! His bundle is only so big, there can't be many left inside!"

“Boom—”

"ah!!"

The crowd quickly dispersed.

Once the grenade spreads out, its power will be reduced several times over. After all, initially, it can affect a dozen or twenty people within fifty meters, but once it spreads out, the number of people affected will be reduced to just a few.

The assassins believed that their approach would leave General Zhou helpless.

But the next second.

They saw General Zhou raise his eyebrows knowingly, then calmly put the grenade into his bundle, and after a few seconds of fiddling, pull out a dark-colored pistol.

What is this?

Thirteen supported his injured forehead, his pupils slightly contracted.

The subordinates who had been ordered by General Zhou to retreat to the rear were even more puzzled. The dozen or so men looked at each other, clearly still not recovered from the shock they had just experienced.

Where did the general get these incredibly powerful weapons?

What, what is this?

soon.

Everyone then knew!

General Zhou, recalling the method his son had taught him, loaded his gun, raised his hand, and aimed it at the ruthless assassin who was charging at him with a knife. With a loud bang, the gun was fired!

The assassin's arm was struck...

No.

It didn't just hit, it pierced through!

The assassin's body slammed violently to the ground, the immense impact shaking everyone present.

"It missed! It seems my son was right. This thing is somewhat different from a bow and crossbow, but fortunately the principle is the same. With a few more practices, I'll get the hang of it." General Zhou said solemnly.

Another shot was fired.

The shot hit the assassin in the shoulder!

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang bang bang!"

After firing more than a dozen shots in succession.
