Chapter 3 No One Owes Anything

Chapter 3 No One Owes Anything

"Yu Xiaowan, you bitch! First you separated my son and Minwei, and now you caused Minwei to have a miscarriage." Wang Yingzhi glared at me resentfully, then stomped her feet.

"I don't know what Dad was thinking. He actually let such a vicious woman like you into our Jiang family. It's really..."

Jiang Ruohe stood up from his chair and said he was going to see Huang Minwei.

"Wait, I'll go with you." Wang Yingzhi glanced at me with disgust, then turned to look at Jiang Ruohe. Her tone was full of heartache, "Minwei is such a kid. She didn't even tell me about such a big thing as a miscarriage. How can she survive without someone to take care of her?"

"Grandpa's side..."

"Don't worry, I'll tell Butler Chen. He'll contact you before Dad comes."

"Yu Xiaowan, you'd better behave yourself. If you gossip about me in front of dad, I'll make you pay for it." After giving the warning, Wang Yingzhi followed Jiang Ruohe away.

I frantically reached out to grab a tissue and wiped my face. Within a minute, a nurse opened the door and came in holding a new quilt. She looked at me reproachfully and asked me why I couldn't even drink the soup properly.

I smiled bitterly, lifted the quilt and said I was going to the bathroom to wash my hair. The moment the bathroom door closed, I leaned against the door and squatted down uncomfortably.

Early the next morning, Chen, the housekeeper who served Jiang Mingzhe, came over and bought me a lot of supplements.

"The master asked me to ask the young mistress, did the young master take care of you last night?"

I looked at Butler Chen indifferently. Butler Chen avoided my eyes feeling a little guilty and waited for my answer.

"Tell grandpa that he took care of her and took good care of her."

After Butler Chen left, I lifted the quilt and walked to the window, and happened to see Jiang Ruohe accompanying Huang Minwei in the yard.

It seems that Huang Minwei is also in this hospital.

He carefully helped Huang Minwei sit on the chair, brought the soup over, blew on it a few times, and fed her mouthful by mouthful with a spoon.

After drinking the soup, Huang Minwei snuggled happily in Jiang Ruohe's arms. At this moment, Jiang Ruohe seemed to feel my gaze and looked up at me. I hurriedly hid aside.

Leaning against the wall, I took out the necklace from my neck and stared at the English letters on it quietly, my eyes turned red unconsciously.

I don't know how long I stood there. When I heard someone turn the door, I hurriedly put the necklace into my clothes.

When I saw Huang Minwei, a hint of surprise flashed across my eyes. Huang Minwei walked in front of me.

She had a faint, dazzling smile on her face, and her tone was soft but mocking, "Ruohe and I were in the yard just now. You saw it, right? He has always loved me, so I advise you to be smart and divorce Ruohe quickly."

"Huang Minwei, Jiang Ruohe just loves you, so he didn't think twice and thought I had an abortion. He loves you, so he's biased." I looked at her coldly. "But surveillance doesn't lie."

"Yesterday in the coffee shop, I didn't push you downstairs at all. You splashed coffee on my face. When I left, you even followed me on purpose."

"When you were taken to the hospital, I contacted the coffee shop manager and got the video of the incident."

Huang Minwei's face turned pale instantly.

"I acknowledge this debt. From now on, we owe each other nothing."

I walked past her and was about to go out for some fresh air, but was stopped by Huang Minwei.

"Yu Xiaowan, you're so nice to say we owe each other nothing, but you took the position that originally belonged to me. If you expect me to let you go easily, forget it."

After she finished speaking, she looked behind me, a barely noticeable smile flashed across her eyes, she let go of me, stepped back, and fell to the ground.

Before I could react, someone pushed me hard and my head hit the wall. My mind went blank at first, and then the pain brought me back to consciousness.
