The zombies are dead. I continued, "Let's not talk about anything else, let's get started! Let's push over all these drink stands; that commotion will be enough to attract all the zombies in the supermarket!"

As I spoke, I started pushing the beverage shelf behind me!

I've wanted to do that for a long time! Before the zombie outbreak, every time I went to the supermarket, I always wanted to try and push the shelves over. Now I finally have the chance!

There's a wall behind the beverage shelf, so I don't have to worry about causing a domino effect and knocking down one shelf and all the other shelves falling down. That's not what I intended!

If this row of shelves falls over, I will achieve my goal.

After hearing what I said, Fei Lichao turned around to push another row of shelves. Seeing his posture, I quickly called out to him, "Hey, Fei, stop!"

Upon hearing my voice, Fei Lichao quickly stopped and looked at me with a puzzled expression.

I looked at the shelves he hadn't knocked over and breathed a sigh of relief. I said, "If you had knocked over your shelf row, wouldn't all the ones behind it have fallen over? How would we have run away then?"

Fei Lichao frowned, "You didn't even tell me!"

I paused for a moment, realizing I hadn't explained it clearly enough, but there was no time to explain now, the zombies were almost here!

"Stop talking nonsense and help me push it! I can't move it by myself!"

Fei Lichao came to my side and helped me push the shelf full of aluminum cans in front of me. With our combined effort, the shelf began to tip over.

Suddenly, various beverages and food items began to fall off the other side of the shelf.

Splash, splash.

The sounds were incessant. Although the sound of a single drink falling to the ground was small, the sound of so many drinks falling to the ground was quite loud!

Hearing this noise, I got goosebumps all over my body.

But it's not over yet.

With our push, the shelf completely tipped over and then crashed into the wall behind it. Since the shelves were stacked up, the impact was so strong that half of the shelf broke apart.

In an instant, various canned drinks fell to the ground on the shelf facing us, some even bursting open with a loud "pop" as the shelf crushed them.

Next, we won't need to push the shelves anymore...

Bang!

The upper and lower parts of the shelf cracked, and both parts fell to the ground with a loud bang.

Now, all the zombies in the supermarket probably heard the commotion.

Before we knew it, a number of zombies had appeared behind us!

Fei Lichao turned around and swung his knife, severing the head of a zombie.

"Let's go, to the deli section!" I whispered.

The deli section wasn't far from us; after all, we had just come from there.

As we were fleeing, many of the aluminum cans on the shelves were crushed under the shelves. After they couldn't hold on any longer, various aluminum cans started to burst open, and the popping sounds kept coming from behind us!

The sound of the aluminum can perfectly masked the noise we made as we ran away.

We walked back to the counter in the deli section without any zombies following us!

It seems my plan worked; the commotion just now was enough to attract the attention of all the zombies.

I pulled Fei Lichao down behind the counter and whispered, "We don't need to worry about this anymore. The commotion here is enough to attract all the zombies in the supermarket. Then we'll leave through the other exit of the deli section, and that way we can avoid them. By the way, do you remember the way to the supermarket entrance?"

Fei Lichao recalled for a moment and nodded.

I said, "Just remember that. Once the zombies in the supermarket are lured here, the main entrance will definitely be empty. Even if there are just the two of us, we can handle it, but there's one problem."

Fei Lichao asked in confusion, "Tell me quickly?"

"Sister Jing, we don't even know where she is right now. How can we save her?" I frowned, then asked, "Does she have a walkie-talkie?"

"No!" Fei Lichao shook his head.

Not having a walkie-talkie was terrible, but neither of us had one, which left me speechless.

Fei Lichao cursed, "Damn it, let's ignore her for now. Lu Jing isn't stupid, she'll definitely find a place to hide. We can eat our way out, lure the zombies away, and then come back in to find her, right?"

I thought about it, and although this method is time-consuming, it is at least feasible.

Just as the two of us were hiding behind the deli counter, we heard a series of noises coming from the shelves outside. The howls of the zombies also increased at this time. What were just a few howls at first were now coming in waves!

It seems this method is indeed working; the zombies in the supermarket have heard the commotion and are rushing over from all directions.

Seeing that it had worked, Fei Lichao reached out and patted me on the back, chuckling softly, "Xiaonan, you're damn good! You even came up with this idea!"

I chuckled. "If it weren't for that aluminum can you threw away, I doubt I would have thought of such a solution."

Fei Lichao had an excited smile on his face. "It looks like if the two of us are together, we can definitely settle on Pu Weichao."

I gave a bitter smile, unsure how to answer.

If Pu Weichao were here, he would probably have already escaped, and wouldn't be wandering around aimlessly.

Without thinking much, I hid behind the counter and listened carefully to the sounds outside. There were indeed more and more zombies, all gathering in this direction.
