We went there in the morning, and at noon we originally planned to have a meal in the scenic area, but after looking at the menu, the three of us gave up completely and went to a small shop next door to buy three buckets of instant noodles, and made do with that.
Even just three buckets of instant noodles cost forty-five yuan.
It's absolutely outrageous and will kill you.
And so, after going once, we never went again.
Actually, we saw a film crew shooting a movie in the Linshan Scenic Area that time. We watched them curiously for a long time, but we didn't see anything at all.
The scenery in Linshan Scenic Area is indeed beautiful, making it suitable for filming period dramas.
But there's no use thinking about these things now. The world has become such a mess, it's good enough to just be alive, who would care about such trivial matters?
The pickup truck kept taking detours.
We drove for a full two hours, and around 4:30 pm, we entered the area bordering the mountains.
Looking far to the north, one can already see the towering Linshan Mountain.
Gao Feng leaned out of the car window and said to us, "It will take another hour or so to get to Linshan. We'll see if we go up later. If it gets dark, we won't go up."
I nodded: "Okay, you decide, we're both fine with it."
The next hour went smoothly.
At 5:30, we had arrived at the foot of the mountain.
The car drove to the highway at the foot of the mountain and stopped next to a security room.
There were no monsters around, and it was very quiet.
The sun had already set halfway down.
Gao Feng got out of the car and said, "There's a landslide ahead, so we can't go up. We can only walk. It's getting dark now, so maybe we should go up tomorrow."
I crossed my arms and shrank back, wondering why the road ahead had collapsed. But I didn't ask. Instead, I said, "I have no objection, but didn't you say you had an injured person here? Are they alright?"
Gao Feng looked troubled for a moment and said, "But if we go up, it will probably be very dangerous. There are quite a few zombies on the way up."
I glanced at Li Qiming and the others and said, "In that case, why don't we settle them in first?"
"Okay." Gao Feng didn't refuse.
The security room isn't large, but it at least provides shelter from the wind and rain.
After everything was arranged, it was almost dark.
Gao Feng found me and said, "I think we should go up first, and I'll come back to bring them tomorrow morning?"
I nodded, pondered for a moment, and then asked, "What's the name of your injured person? How did they get injured?"
I asked this simply to find out if I knew the injured person or not.
Gao Feng said, "His name is Fei Lichao, he is my captain, and he was shot."
