There are passageways connecting the three glass rooms. I was standing in the middle glass room, and the doors leading to the two side glass rooms were open. A series of roars came from these two passageways.
I swallowed hard, at a loss for what to do.
The smell of blood in the glass room was strong and disgusting; even I, someone who is used to seeing corpses, found it unpleasant.
I looked to the left and right, and the monsters in the glass rooms on both sides had begun to walk towards us.
They will be here with me soon.
I won't be able to deal with them by myself!
What should I do? What should I do?
I stared out of the glass room and noticed two soldiers watching me with great interest, seemingly waiting to see a good show.
I could hear them talking.
"Hey, how long do you think this kid can last?"
"It won't last more than two minutes."
"No way, I think this kid is pretty capable. He managed to cripple Old Sha in the elevator. I bet he can last three minutes!"
"How about we take a gamble?"
"Alright, five cigarettes, I bet he can last three minutes!"
"Alright, five cigarettes. I bet he'll be dead in less than two minutes. Start the timer now!"
Hearing their conversation, I felt like going out and shaving them both!
I stood helplessly in the glass room, without a single sharp object in my hand. Even if I had a scalpel, I could hold out for quite a while!
Before long, just as I was thinking about what to do, monsters had already entered through both doorways!
"Awooo!" The monster opened its mouth, and a roar came from its throat. Goosebumps covered my whole body, and the hairs on my body stood on end!
What should I do? Fight them hand-to-hand? Don't be ridiculous! If they grab me, given their strength, I'm doomed!
Escape? This glass room is sealed very tightly; it can't be broken at all!
I can't fight back, I can't run away, what should I do?
The monster was already pouncing on me. I wanted to dodge, but there was only so much space in this glass room. Where could I hide?
I dodged the moment it pounced, but by then another monster had already walked in!
And they keep coming in. If I can't kill them, they'll eat me!
I looked down at the ground, trying to find something I could use to kill monsters.
Just as I was stunned, the monster pounced on me from behind, opening its mouth to bite my neck!
Luckily, I reacted quickly enough, turned around and knocked it to the ground, my knee pressing directly onto its chest. With a crisp crack, I heard its ribs break.
I looked down and saw that the monster's chest had no skin or flesh, only a bloody mess of ribs. I stared at the rib I had broken and was overjoyed!
I reached into its chest cavity and pulled out the rib I had broken. Although it was bent, at least I could use it to kill the monster!
"Die!" The moment I pulled it out, I plunged the rib into the monster's eye socket, killing it instantly.
I stood up. More and more monsters were appearing in the glass room, and without exception, they all walked towards me. Although they were moving slowly, the oppressive feeling made me want to go crazy.
"I can't just sit here and wait to die. Once I'm cornered, it will be too late to fight back! I have to take the initiative to have any chance of survival!"
I pondered for a moment, then gripped my ribs with both hands and thrust them into the monster in front of me. The monster slammed into its eye sockets, and with a thud, it fell to the ground, lifeless.
One monster fell, but many more monsters followed.
All I can do is keep poking!
The first three were fine; I was calm enough to aim accurately. But with the fourth one, two monsters came from the left and right sides, which made me hesitate. I was a step too slow and ended up poking the monster's forehead!
The rib in my hand snapped with a crack!
This made me panic and confused. I stared at the rib in my hand in astonishment. This thing shouldn't be this weak!
But once it's broken, it's broken, and I can only accept that fact!
Holding the remaining half of the rib in my hand, I faced the monster that pounced on me. To prevent it from biting me, I half-squatted, and unknowingly, the half of the rib in my hand pierced into the monster's belly.
In a panic, he slashed the monster's belly hard with the rib in his hand.
Whoosh!
The monster's intestines, internal organs, and blood suddenly pounced on my head, leaving me covered in blood all over my body, on my cheeks, and even in my mouth. I was so disgusted that I vomited!
"vomit!"
I knelt on the ground and vomited twice, bringing up all the stomach acid!
This feeling is really awful.
I've never vomited this much, not even when I was dissecting corpses at school!
When I came to my senses, I realized that the situation around me was a bit strange.
The monsters were actually lingering around me without attacking or biting me, which surprised and astonished me.
What's going on? Why aren't they biting me anymore?
I wanted to stand up, but when I saw the disgusting large intestine hanging on my shoulder, I suddenly realized what was going on.
"Could it be that because all this blood and internal organs are on my body, these monsters are treating me like one of their own?"
The moment this thought crossed my mind, I felt a little smug.
"If that's really the case, then all I have to do is pretend to be dead?"
Just as I was thinking, I heard voices from two people outside the glass room.
