"That's not a dream."
A voice rang out, startling her. She looked up and saw a figure sitting on the boulder in front of her.
The moonlight shone on the man, who was dressed in a magnificent black robe, with long, black hair cascading down his back. He had handsome features, and his blood-red eyes gleamed with a cold light. He seemed to blend into the night.
"A gentle breeze is coming!"
Lu Xuening exclaimed in surprise.
“I’m not Xu Fengzhi, Xu Fengzhi won’t save you,” Lou Munan said.
Lu Xuening stared in shock at the man before her. He did indeed look exactly like Xu Fengzhi, but he exuded a terrifying aura of oppression that made her unable to look him directly in the eye after just one glance. This man gave off a completely different feeling than Xu Fengzhi. And yes, his voice was different from Xu Fengzhi's as well.
The sound seemed familiar.
"Senior, you saved me?" Lu Xuening touched her body. She still remembered the pain of being devoured by countless insects. So, it wasn't a nightmare; it was real. But how did this person save her? And why did they save her?
Lu Xuening was indeed bitten by poisonous insects, and she was almost dead when Lou Munan took action, took her away, and restored her body.
“If it weren’t for me, you would be a pile of bones by now,” Lou Munan said.
Hearing his deep, magnetic voice, Lu Xuening couldn't help but look up at him. This time, when their eyes met, she felt captivated and unable to look away. Her heart pounded wildly, and an emotion she had never felt before welled up from the depths of her heart.
