After taking a picture of himself holding his phone up to the sun, the group continued on their way. The downhill road was better than the uphill road, but there was a difficult section. After searching for a long time, they finally found a relatively easy downhill road. Suddenly, Wang Ming, who was in front, waved to Lu Yuan with a happy expression and shouted, "President Lu, I've found a coal mine!"

So the group quickened their pace and headed downstream. As the floodwaters receded, a small stream had formed. Upstream, they found a shallow spot and discovered a small area that had become somewhat sandy, with a few tents scattered about.
Just as Lu Yuan was about to go forward to investigate, he suddenly heard an urgent sound from all around. Then a group of people rushed over and surrounded Lu Yuan and the others.
"What are you doing here? Where are you from? I've never seen you before!"
A thin man was seen pointing a wooden stick at Lu Yuan and asking in a trembling voice.
Lu Yuan sized them up, a slight smile appearing on his face, and said, "I'm from the survivor base. I got separated from everyone, so it wasn't easy for me to find you. Where are you from?"
The other person looked at Lu Yuan with some suspicion and asked, "Are you from the survivor base? That's impossible. We've already done a count of everyone at the survivor base. We just moved here and haven't heard of any survivors here!"
Lu Yuan was startled, so he quickly asked, "If there are no survivors, aren't you survivors?"

The number of people who came with Tan Qing was about 25,000. Many of them died during the trip due to hunger and other complications. The number of people in the base should still be around 20,000.
Soon, the locals led Lu Yuan to the area where the tents were located, which was in a desert forest at the foot of the mountain.
The man then smiled and told Lu Yuan and the others to wait there while he went in to inform them.
A few minutes later, a violent coughing sound was heard, and then a middle-aged man led more than ten people to Lu Yuan's side.
