Seeing the other person's miserable state, Lu Yuan shook his head. If they hadn't chosen to be cowardly back then, but instead stood stronger by their family's side, perhaps the child could have survived.
They chose this path themselves, and they have only themselves to blame for what they've done; it has nothing to do with Lu Yuan.
After the two cried for a while, Lu Yuan walked over to the other person and patted him on the shoulder: "Tomorrow, bring all the people on the note to the beach. Remember, 6 a.m. No exceptions!"
After saying that, Lu Yuan handed a note to the other person and turned to leave.
The family members, who had been busy all day, did not seem to feel tired at all. Grandma looked around the empty room and felt that something was still missing. Lu's father and mother also tidied up the last remaining bedding and prepared to pack up and go directly to the ship.
"Mom and Dad, aren't you going to sleep tonight?"
Lu's father hugged his blanket excitedly: "We're leaving tomorrow morning, why bother sleeping? I'll stay here and keep watch all night!"
Lu's mother nodded repeatedly, her smile impossible to hide: "Yes, how could I fall asleep at such an exciting moment? I really want to leave right now!"
Grandpa walked back and forth in the bathroom, hands behind his back, and said, "Hey, where did my last bit of tobacco go? Old woman, did you hide it from me again?"
Grandma glared at Grandpa angrily: "You've smoked all that stuff yourself, don't you know that? All you do all day is smoke that pipe, that's more than enough for you!"
After being scolded by his grandmother, Grandpa stopped wandering around and took out a pack of cigarettes from the table and lit one.
"A tobacco pipe is still the most powerful!"
The family moved their small stools together and sat around the fire, all looking energetic and not sleepy at all.
