Chapter 10 The June Bride Murder Case (Part 1)

[Let me clarify first, I genuinely didn't know how to write at first. There are trial posts in the comments section, you can check them out.]

[Don't even mention you guys, I want to slap myself when I read this. Why did I write such idiotic stuff?]

[Secondly, I didn't intend to write sodium hydroxide that way. The Chinese version of the manga and the anime I have also translated it that way. What are you yelling at me for? If you think there's a problem, go find 73 or the translation team!]

[The bloodbath issue is another one. Damn it, that's how it's drawn in the anime, that's how it's drawn in the manga, what are you yelling at me for?]

Today, Ran took Conan—oh, no, Conan was going to go with Ran and also took Kyou, who was playing cards, out the door.

The three of them soon arrived at a church, where Sonoko was already waiting at the entrance, waving to indicate that she was there.

"Sister Xiaolan, is there something you need here?" Guangyou tugged at Xiaolan's hand and asked.

Sonoko replied, "Oh my, today is the wedding ceremony of Ran, me, and Shinichi's teacher, Matsumoto-sensei! Kousuke, be good today!"

Ran nodded her chin: "Matsumoto-sensei, it's been since we graduated that we've seen each other."

"Maybe we'll hear Matsumoto-sensei's beautiful singing voice at the wedding ceremony today~"

Sonoko said with a dreamy look on her face, but then looked around and said, "By the way, where's that guy? The one who always sings off-key in music class and makes the teacher angry?"

Ran was clearly a little embarrassed, and it was obvious that she knew who Sonoko was talking about: "You mean, Shin, Shinichi, he was on the phone saying who wants to go to that kind of event."

"So, to replace that tone-deaf guy, you brought this kid along?" Sonoko squinted and pointed at Conan.

Upon hearing Sonoko's words, Conan's signature half-moon eyes appeared, and he thought: What? She's saying I'm tone-deaf.

The group didn't stay outside for long before heading straight to Matsumoto-sensei's dressing room to find him.

Upon opening the door, everyone was stunned by Matsumoto's appearance: the pure white wedding dress exuded a sacred aura, and after removing her glasses, her beauty, which she had never shown before, combined with her exposed collarbone, and the wedding dress accentuated her figure, which she had never shown before. This added a touch of sexiness to her sacredness, and her exquisite face was so beautiful that even flowers would not dare to compete with it. The semi-transparent veil added a touch of mystery.

Kōyū nodded, thinking: A woman's most beautiful moment is indeed when she wears a wedding dress. Kōyū thought about dressing Ai in a wedding dress in the future, and couldn't help but be stunned.

“It’s Mori-san and Suzuki-san,” Matsumoto-sensei said, walking up to the group and turning around. “How is it? Do you think it looks good?”

Ran and Sonoko were clearly excited: "Wow, it's so beautiful, teacher!"

Ms. Matsumoto's full name is Matsumoto Sayuri. Sayuri looked at the group of people and, finding none of them, was visibly disappointed. She snapped her fingers and said, "That brat didn't come. I was hoping to show him off my beautiful wedding dress!"

Only then did Ms. Matsumoto notice Kouyu and Conan. Lifting her skirt, she ran up to them and looked them over closely: "This child is so cute."

He turned his head and looked at Conan. "Little friend, haven't we met before?"

"Please look this way, everyone," Xiaolan said with a smile, holding a camera. "Today, we'll be the cameramen."

"Please think about your kissing poses later~" Sonoko said with a smile.

"Leave that to me!" Little Lily was clearly very happy.

Just then, the door opened, and a pretty woman with a few freckles walked in: "Little Lily, I'm back. Warm lemon tea."

Xiaobaihe thanked them and quickly picked up a can, inserted a straw, and drank it down. The happiness on her face was palpable as she drank.

Sayuri lowered her head and said to Takenaka Kazumi, the beautiful woman who had come in, "Kazumi, I'm sorry, about Toshihiko..."

Yi Mei was stunned for a moment after hearing this, but then she patted Xiao Baihe and said, "What are you talking about? Please, it's already this late, and you still haven't realized that I'm going to reveal at the ceremony that Sina is my ex-boyfriend!"

But then she laughed and said, "I was just kidding."

After saying that, he left the room.

Lily gave the remaining can of lemon tea to Sonoko.

A burly man with a scar on his left eye and a serious face opened the door and walked in.

Thinking it was a bad guy, Xiaolan quickly ran to Xiaobaihe and put her hand to protect her: "Who are you? Why did you suddenly run in?"

Sonoko was also very excited, pointing at the man and saying, "Ran, quickly throw this gorilla out!"

"Huh? That's strange. Isn't this Ran?" Inspector Megure, dressed in a black suit and wearing his ever-present hat (though this time it was black), peeked out from behind the man and said.

"Inspector Megure, what are you doing here?" Ran asked, puzzled.

Inspector Megure smiled and said, "How could I, as his subordinate, not attend my boss's daughter's wedding?"

Kōyū also complained: "Inspector Megure is indeed a good person, very responsible, but he also knows how to flatter."

Before Ran could recover, Sayuri smiled and said, "This police chief from the Metropolitan Police Department is my dad."

The atmosphere around Sonoko and Ran was extremely awkward.

Sonoko said, word by word, "Did I just say your father is a gorilla?"

Realizing the problem, Sonoko quickly apologized to Sayuri.
