Chapter 112 My Heart is in Turmoil

Ran and her group had already left, and Conan no longer needed to pretend to be a child. He climbed onto the bed and asked, "What is your purpose in coming here?"

Conan didn't believe Hattori had come to see him. Hattori knew that giving lilies was inappropriate, and that was intentional on his part.

At first, Hattori denied it, saying things like they were in the same boat and he came to check on him out of kindness.

"Come on." Conan didn't believe this explanation at all; the possibility of it being true was practically zero.

"I can't hide it from you after all," Hattori sighed.

Guangyou, who was standing to the side, was so embarrassed that he almost had a stroke: "What the hell are you hiding? Isn't this obvious?"

Hattori's smile vanished instantly, replaced by a serious expression: "To be honest, I received a call from Professor Agasa last night. He wanted me to come here to discuss something with you."

"He said, he said your little girlfriend seems to be finding out who you are!"

Hattori's serious face suddenly broke into a wicked grin: "Hehe, the girl you're having an affair with isn't someone to be trifled with either!"

Conan lay on his side on the pillow, his face full of helplessness: "It's not that I'm about to be discovered, it's that I've already been discovered."

"Huh! How could this be? Did you tell her?" Hattori had only expected Ran to have some suspicions, but it turned out she had already seen through his lies?

"How could that be! It's not the right time yet. I won't let her get involved in these cases! I'm still clueless myself." Conan sighed, suddenly feeling relieved. He thought to himself, "If only I had a clone, I could keep this lie hidden forever."

"However, what I'm curious about is, since she's so sure, why doesn't she just tell me directly?"

Guangyou put down his game console and said with exasperation, "Are you stupid? She's waiting for you to tell her yourself. She wants you to be honest with her!"

As an outsider, Hattori naturally saw things more clearly and nodded in agreement with Kōsuke's suggestion: "Why don't you just tell us everything?"

Conan was still hesitant. He didn't want Ran to get involved in this mess. Based on Conan's understanding of Ran, he knew she would never stand idly by.

But what troubled him was seeing Xiaolan enduring it all, and he didn't want to continue lying to her.

Conan lay on the bed staring at the ceiling and asked, "Kuyoshi, Heiji, if it were you, what would you do? I'm really confused right now."
