Chapter 288 The Detective Boy's Chocolate

Conan peeked out slightly and saw Ran looking out the window, then quickly pulled his head back in: "Oh right, I was a little hungry earlier, so I ate a box of chocolates on the table. I think it'll be fine."

How does it taste?

"It's pretty good; it's the best-tasting chocolate I've ever had."

Conan blushed slightly. "But why is the chocolate shaped like a peach? Where did you buy it?"

Xiaolan's mood improved a lot: "It's a secret. If you want to eat it in the future, you have to ask me."

Conan, seeing that it was about time, said, "Oh, by the way, I saw a chocolate sale on the street on my way back, so I brought you a box too."

Xiaolan turned her head in surprise and looked at a blue box on the table.

"I'm very happy."

What have you prepared?

"It's a secret."

"Let me see your hands?"

Looking into Conan's eyes, Kōyū smiled and said, "Chocolate? Or did you make it yourself?"

Conan shrugged, remaining noncommittal.

Conan didn't admit it, and Mitsuyu didn't want to say more; the two of them knew the truth.

"Let's invite Xiaolan over for dinner."
