Kōyū followed the two out of the restaurant. When they passed Kaito, Kaito was chatting with Aoko. Aoko had tuna sushi in front of her, while Kaito had other dishes in front of him.
Clearly, Aoko was just saying that; she wouldn't actually make Kaito eat the fish he was most afraid of.
Kaito felt a warmth in his heart, and his smile became more genuine. He even told jokes to make Aoko laugh.
Aoko was slightly surprised but also delighted, and her mood for the conversation became much higher. She even forgot to eat the sushi on her plate.
Hearing the laughter of the two behind him, Kōyū sighed, "Conan, I feel like you owe me a lot."
