"I wish I knew all this too," Kōyū said, resting his head on Ai's shoulder, his mood slightly down. "That way I could help you with your research."
Upon hearing this, Ai's gaze softened instantly. She gently patted Kyou's back and comforted him, "It's okay. Even if you don't understand these things, you've always been helping me."
"Mm," Guangyou replied after calming down a bit.
I hope artificial intelligence really exists.
This will lighten her burden.
Holding Ai in his arms, Kōyū thought to himself silently.
After hugging for a while, Kōyū let go of Ai.
"I want to eat chocolate." Ai looked at Kousuke, a faint smile playing on her lips as she recalled what had just happened.
"I'll get it for you." Kōyū smiled, walked to the table, opened the gift box and took out a chocolate, then returned to Ai's side and put the chocolate to her lips.
After putting the chocolate in her mouth, Ai said again, "I want to eat the chocolate you made again."
"Okay, okay, I'll get it for you." Kōyū looked around, then asked Ai, "Ai, where did you put the chocolate?"
"I put it in the fridge," Ai said gently, a smile playing on her lips. "Could you go get it for me?"
"Okay." Kwangyu readily agreed.
After saying that, Guangyou turned and left the basement.
Watching Kōyū's departing figure, Ai's smile widened even further.
After standing there in a daze for a while, Ai sat on her bed and hugged the teddy bear on the bedside table.
I closed my eyes, and the two paintings and the scene from that time reappeared in my mind.
Then, more images flashed through Ai's mind.
Those are the bits and pieces of the story from when the two of them first met until now.
I may not remember the details clearly, but I do remember the general outline.
Opening her eyes, Ai looked in the direction Kousuke had left and murmured, "Even though you don't understand those things, you've always been helping me."
"They've really been helping me."
