As night falls, twinkling stars adorn the deep blue sky.
The neon lights in the park were already on, and the various colored lights came together to illuminate a small patch of the night sky.
Inside an unnamed restaurant, Guangyou and his group sat at a table, waiting for the waiter to bring them their food.
This restaurant isn't a famous chain, but judging from its popularity and the occasional "oh ee-ee" sounds from the surroundings, the food must be pretty good.
It is said that every Japanese girl is a ruthless "oh-ee-shi" machine.
Whenever the waiter brings a dish to the table, the Japanese girl will cover her mouth with her hand and say something to her companion when she takes her first bite.
"Oh, I see~"
On the second bite, he would say something to his companion.
"Red bean paste, oh dear~"
If it's a meal eaten by one person, most people will just nod in agreement.
Guangyou could relate to this; he had just gone to the restroom and on his way back he heard "Oh my~" at least five times.
And they were all sent by different girls.
Perhaps because there are relatively few people who come to the theme park alone, most of the people eating in the restaurant are in groups.
Whether it's a best friend, a lover, or a large group of friends.
However, having lived in this environment for so long, Guangyou had gotten used to a sudden sound next to him while he was eating at the restaurant.
"Oh, I see~"
This time it wasn't Guangyou who was thinking about it, but a girl sitting at the next table was covering her mouth and talking to her boyfriend.
Every Japanese girl is a ruthless "oh-ee-shi" machine.
This statement is indeed true.
"What are you thinking about?" Ai asked, gently tugging at Kousuke's sleeve as he seemed lost in thought after returning to his seat.
"It's nothing." Kōyū came back to his senses, shook his head to indicate to Ai that she didn't need to worry, and then told Ai what he had been thinking about.
There's no point in hiding this. We're waiting for our food anyway, so it's a good idea to chat with Ai about it.
The girls around them were quite cooperative; as soon as Kōyū finished speaking to Ai, a voice called out, "Oh my gosh~" came from the side.
"I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said it." Ai smiled and glanced at the girl who had spoken earlier.
"Because you're used to it," Guangyou said with a smile. "Once you're used to it, you definitely won't notice it."
Although he was used to it, his way of thinking was different, and he didn't usually say "Oh, I see" after eating a dish.
"Please enjoy your meal."
While Kōyū was talking to Aoi, a waiter pushed a food cart to the table and placed the dishes ordered by the group on the table one by one.
Seeing that the food was already on the table, Ai whispered to Kousuke, "Let's eat... don't eat so fast, be careful not to choke."
It was that familiar tone of voice.
"Um."
After smiling and nodding, Guangyou picked up his chopsticks, put his hands together, and said something in a low voice, just like the others at the table.
"I'm going to start eating!"
...
The meal took almost an hour.
When the group paid their bill and walked out of the restaurant, the sky had become even darker, and the stars seemed to shine even brighter.
Compared to the colorful neon lights in the park, it's like the difference between a firefly and the bright moon; however, the stars in the sky are naturally beautiful.
It was already quite late, but the number of visitors in the park hadn't decreased; in fact, it seemed to have increased.
Compared to the park during the day, there were fewer tourists with children, but more couples holding hands.
Perhaps it's because they can do things they enjoy under the cover of night.
During the day, you could often see staff members dressed in mascot costumes.
Some staff members would hold balloons and distribute them free of charge to children who wanted them, and occasionally they would also go up to give them to couples.
But now there are very few staff members running around in mascot costumes; they've probably gone to have dinner.
"What should we do next?" Xiaolan stood under the streetlight, looking at the park map in the light, and discussed with the others.
"It's up to us, you decide," Hattori Heiji replied, one hand on his stomach and the other patting Conan's hair.
Shaking off Heiji Hattori's hand, Conan nodded and replied, "Yes, Ran-neechan and Kazuha-neechan, you two can decide."
Ran wanted to ask Kousuke for his opinion, but before she could ask, she realized that Kousuke wasn't there, and then she noticed that Ai was also missing.
"Huh? Where are Kousuke and Ai?"
Upon hearing this, He Ye looked around, then pointed to the two figures walking out of the restaurant and said to Xiao Lan.
"Xiao Lan, Guang You and the others are over there."
Following the direction Kazuha pointed, Ran saw Kouyu and Ai walking towards them.
As the two approached, Xiaolan frowned slightly and asked, "Guangyou, where did you two go just now?"
"I went to get the visitor guide," Guangyou replied, waving a small booklet in his hand. "It says there's a parade of floats tonight."
"A parade of floats?" Xiaolan and Heye immediately became interested upon hearing this.
"Hmm." Guangyou nodded, turned to the page of the tour guide about the parade floats, and then showed it to the others.
"It will start in an hour or two. We can watch the parade before going back."
The promotional pictures in these travel guides were certainly very beautiful, and after seeing them, Ran and Kazuha made their decision.
"Let's go play other rides first, then watch the parade, and then go back."
"Okay." Kōyū nodded, handed the travel guide to Ran, and then talked to Ai.
"You have to stay by my side when we watch the parade later, no... you have to stay by my side from now on."
Upon hearing Kōyū's words, Ai smiled and teased, "What if I need to go to the restroom? Will you follow me?"
“…” Kōyū coughed awkwardly.
"Don't worry, I won't leave you for a moment." Ai teased Kousuke for a moment, then put away her joking thoughts and said seriously.
That slight awkwardness came and went quickly; it vanished without a trace the moment Ai said those words.
"Mm." Kwang-yu nodded with a smile.
After Xiaolan and Heye decided what to do next, the group followed Xiaolan to the next activity, just like during the day.
They had just finished dinner, so Xiaolan didn't choose any of the more thrilling rides, but instead opted for the carousel that Guangyou had ridden during the day.
Standing in front of the carousel, Kōyū turned to look at Ai, and Ai turned to look at him as well.
The moment their eyes met in mid-air, Kwangyu opened his mouth and whispered, "I still want the blue one."
Ai, who understood what Kōyū meant, glanced at him and then replied softly, "Then I'll be the one who's famous."
