As night fell, the decorative lights on the carousel were already lit.
The carousel's inherent style, combined with warm-toned lighting, gives it an even more fairytale-like feel.
Almost every girl dreams of being a princess, and the carousel is one way for them to realize that dream.
At the end of the line, Ran and Kazuha held onto the railing with both hands, watching the carousel in motion, their faces beaming with smiles.
"Heiji, are you really not going to play?" Kazuha turned to look at Hattori Heiji, who was standing outside, and asked.
"Okay, you guys have fun." Hattori Heiji looked up at the carousel and waved to Kazuha.
How could he possibly play such a childish activity?
He might consider something like a drop tower.
Carousel?
Let's forget about it.
"Conan, aren't you going to play too?" Ran asked Conan.
"I've already played during the day, Ran-neechan, you guys can play." Conan smiled and nodded, politely declining.
He wasn't very interested in the carousel.
"Alright then." Xiaolan didn't doubt it.
"Kudo, you're quite skilled now!" Hattori Heiji said, crouching down slightly and teasing Conan in a low voice after Conan finished speaking.
Knowing that Heiji Hattori was referring to the excuses he had given for refusing, Conan gave Heiji a half-moon look but said nothing.
"To be honest, Kudo, you should go up and play." Hattori Heiji paused and glanced in Kazuha's direction.
Although Kazuha and the others didn't notice this side, just to be on the safe side, Hattori Heiji still leaned close to Conan's ear.
I whispered something to him.
"You're the one who needs to be carried!" Conan retorted loudly, instinctively, after hearing the sentence, "You can let that girl carry you and play with you."
"What hug? Conan?" Ran asked, puzzled.
Kazuha, who was standing nearby, quickly realized what was going on. She put her hands together, looked at Conan, and asked with a smile, "Conan, do you want Ran to hold you while you ride the carousel?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Conan's face turned bright red.
He suddenly pictured that scene in his mind.
Fortunately, it was already dark, and even with the lights around him, Kazuha and Ran couldn't see the expression on his face.
They just felt that Conan seemed a little strange.
But Heiji Hattori, standing next to Conan, saw it all clearly.
Seeing the usually composed Kudo display such a shy expression, Hattori Heiji couldn't help but chuckle.
"Conan, how about I hold you and play with you?" Kazuha didn't think too much about it; in her eyes, Conan was just a little brother.
But Heiji Hattori knew the truth.
Upon hearing Kazuha's words, Hattori Heiji slowly wiped the smile off his face. He felt a tightness in his chest and was not very comfortable.
Then, Heiji Hattori lowered his head and looked at Conan. Even he himself didn't realize that there was a threatening meaning in his eyes.
"If you dare to agree, I'll tell everyone about your affair."
This wasn't Hattori Heiji's true feeling, but rather the voice-over by Kōyū, who was just watching from the sidelines.
He deliberately imitated Heiji Hattori's voice, as well as his unique Osaka accent.
The Osaka dialect imitation wasn't very accurate, but it was good enough.
He spoke very softly, and Ran and Kazuha didn't hear him, but Ai, who was standing next to Kouyu, did.
Ai glanced at Kyou and chuckled softly, but didn't say anything.
All three eyes were on him, and Conan felt a bit of pressure, causing the blush on his face to completely disappear.
"No need, Kazuha-neechan, you can play with Ran-neechan." Conan chuckled awkwardly.
Hearing Conan's refusal, Kazuha didn't press the matter. She was just asking, so she nodded and said, "Alright then."
It wasn't until Kazuha said those words that Hattori Heiji felt a little better, and he subconsciously looked away.
"Tsk..." After refusing, Conan turned his head to look at the outwardly calm Heiji Hattori and curled his lip.
He naturally noticed Hattori Heiji's gaze, but at that moment, refusing was the priority, so he ignored Hattori Heiji.
One round of the carousel ended quickly, and as the visitors left, the queue moved forward a distance.
The carousel can take dozens of people on each ride, and the queue goes on very quickly. I estimate that if there's another ride, it will be time for Guangyou and his group to get on.
After that topic ended, Heiji Hattori and Conan quieted down, and the former stopped teasing Conan like before.
Perhaps it was because he was thinking about why he had felt uncomfortable earlier.
Conan looked up at the carousel, seemingly lost in thought.
...
Six minutes later, Guangyou and his group entered.
As soon as he got on, Guangyou chose a blue-maned wooden horse.
Perhaps it was a coincidence, but next to the blue-maned wooden horse that Kousuke chose was a red-maned wooden horse, which was also the one Ai had said she wanted to choose.
Blue and red...
This is a code that only Kousuke and Ai can understand.
The answer is actually quite simple: these two colors are the colors of the carousel horses that the two of them chose when they went on their last date at Dorobiga Park.
At that time, Kōyū chose the blue-maned rocking horse, while Ai chose the red-maned one.
The two wooden horses are also next to each other.
Xiaolan and He Ye, however, were not so particular.
The two of them randomly chose two wooden horses near Guangyou and Xiao Ai.
A few dozen seconds later, most of the tourists had chosen their rocking horses, and melodious music began to play as the machine started operating.
The gentle breeze from the rotating machine ruffled Ai's hair on her forehead and sides.
