"Teitan Elementary School is really..."
"I wouldn't be surprised if one day I were told that Karasuma Renya, Gin, Rum, Vodka... that group of people also graduated from Teitan Elementary School."
"After graduating from Teitan Elementary School, Karasuma Renya returned home to inherit the family business, established a 'sake brewery,' recruited junior students from Teitan Elementary School, and expanded his influence."
"Goodness, I've imagined a 40-episode TV series plot."
After silently ranting in his mind, Kōyū turned his attention to Ai.
"Ai, it's alright now."
"Hmm." Ai relaxed a bit, but still hid behind Kyou, clearly not completely at ease yet.
That's understandable. Even he would react the same way if someone told him about his past actions.
The individuals introduced themselves:
The first guy with the messy hair was Takumi Murata, who served as the class committee chairman in elementary school.
The girl's name is Ichihashi Seiko, and she was a high-ranking class officer in elementary school.
The other man is named Yanagimachi Takeshi, who served as the vice chairman of the committee when he was in elementary school.
All three were graduates of the 19th class of Teitan Elementary School, one year after Kobayashi Sumiko.
They specifically applied to the school to borrow a classroom for their class reunion, on the condition that no alcohol was allowed.
After the misunderstanding was cleared up, Kwang-woo also voiced his doubts:
"Excuse me, where did you hear the name 'Shiho'?"
"I'm sorry, you've misunderstood."
After apologizing, Murata Takumi explained:
"There was a girl in our class named Akemi Miyano at the time."
"One day, she showed us a picture of herself and her sister, saying that her sister's name was Shiho."
"Because her hair color is exactly the same as the girl next to you, and her hairstyle is also somewhat similar, I couldn't help but ask."
"But thinking about it now, how could that be!"
"That happened so many years ago."
Seiko Ichihashi, standing to the side, pondered for a moment and said:
"I think it was during the winter vacation of sixth grade? That was thirteen years ago."
"Yes." Murata Takumi scratched his head awkwardly.
"I see." Guangyou nodded. "Then it's alright, the misunderstanding is cleared up."
After saying that, he whispered to Ai beside him:
"I didn't expect that Akemi-nee also graduated from Teitan Elementary School."
“My sister never told me this, I only found out now,” Ai shrugged and said. “All I know is that she transfers schools often.”
"I'll keep an eye on them." Guangyou wasn't completely at ease. He said, "Don't worry, with me here, everything will be fine."
"Yes, I believe you." Ai smiled slightly, her words full of trust.
Knowing that the three of them were classmates with Akemi, Kōyū wanted to take Ai to the classroom where they were holding their class reunion.
Before he could speak, Murata Takumi took the initiative to invite him, saying it was an apology for the misunderstanding.
The other two didn't mind having two more "kids" at the class reunion.
So, Kobayashi Sumiko led a few people to the classroom they had borrowed—Class 6A.
The classroom was bustling with activity.
Upon arriving at the classroom, Murata Takumi saw familiar yet somewhat unfamiliar faces and said with a smile:
"Everyone's already here?"
"I thought we were the first ones to arrive!"
"Even Yagawa, who used to be late, is here so early?" Yanagimachi Gaku said with some surprise.
Upon hearing this, Yagawa, who was mentioned, pouted in displeasure:
"Those were the days, but I'm not the same person I was back then!"
A chubby boy standing nearby laughed and said:
"Yagawa is really doing well at work right now! I heard he's about to get a promotion!"
"I didn't realize that!" Murata Takumi was also happy for his friend.
"Congratulations!" Seiko Ichihashi said with a smile.
It's been a long time since I've seen my old classmates, and we have a lot to talk about.
After a brief introduction of Guangyou and Xiao Ai, they chatted while preparing the food and snacks for the class reunion.
After spending more than ten minutes setting up, everyone looked at the classroom and felt somewhat dissatisfied.
In the middle was a large table made up of several desks joined together, on which were placed food for many people.
But they always felt that these dishes were a bit monotonous and the quantity was insufficient.
“Let’s order sushi again!” Murata Takumi suggested.
Another girl wearing glasses tapped her palm and said:
"Good idea!"
"I happen to know a really good sushi restaurant."
"It's my treat!" Yagawa said to everyone with a smile.
Amidst the laughter and chatter, Guangyou glanced at the time and frowned slightly.
"Why hasn't Mingmei arrived yet?"
"My sister said things aren't done yet, and she wants us to wait a little longer," Ai said to Kōyū as she put away her phone.
"Alright then." Guangyou said, somewhat puzzled. "I don't know what it is about."
At that moment, he saw Murata Takumi standing at the classroom door, looking around and muttering to himself:
"Why hasn't Miyano arrived yet?"
"What will happen to the time capsule if she doesn't come?"
"A time capsule?"
Because it was related to Akemi, Kōyū asked about it after his birth.
A time capsule, simply put, is something that is hidden away and to be opened at a specific time.
You can put anything inside—a letter, a coin, or even a sentence—anything you want.
The air quality is fine too.
For example, the cassette tapes that Elena Miyano left for Ai were, in a sense, a time capsule.
“Yes.” Murata Takumi nodded and said, “Our whole class wrote it down. The girl named Miyano Akemi was in charge of burying the time capsule.”
