Side Story (6): A Mission We Cannot Lose



Upon learning the answer, Ai felt a sweet sensation in her heart, and a faint blush rose to her cheeks.

You can't tell unless you look closely.

Her tone was disdainful: "Are you jealous? You're even jealous of a cat."

“Yes!” Guangyou nodded, admitting it.

The two stared at each other for a few seconds, then Ai frowned and said with a helpless expression:

"Alright, really, I'll keep you company for a while, okay?"

"Of course! I'll make two drinks."

Just as he was about to make drinks, Kōyū suddenly remembered something and said to Ai:

"It's so cute when you make a disgusted face while smiling~"

"I wasn't laughing." Ai's cheeks flushed slightly, and she quickly stopped smiling.

"Yeah." Kōyū nodded. "He just blushed."

"Weren't you supposed to be making drinks?" Ai's cheeks flushed even more as she urged Kousuke on.

"Hehehe~" Guangyou laughed and walked away.

"That guy, Kōyū, is really something..." Ai's lips curled up slightly, shaking her head with a mix of helplessness and amusement.

Not far from the two, Xiaolan and Mingmei watched them, both with a slight smile on their faces.

Seeing how good their relationship was, the older sisters were very happy.

Especially Akemi.

Finally, I can live this kind of life with my sister. My sister is becoming more and more like what she should be like at her age, and she has found someone who likes her and whom she likes.

Meanwhile, Shinichi Kudo sat in the cat-free area, flipping through a mystery novel and muttering to himself:

"Did Guangyou go pick oranges? Why isn't he back yet?"

Beside him, Hideaki Akai took a sip of the same black coffee with a blank expression, then glanced at Akemi downstairs.
