With the college entrance exam just around the corner, here's some well wishes from a loser.

Enough with the chit-chat, let's get straight to the point. Although I don't know if any students preparing for the college entrance exam are reading my book (I guess not), I still want to express my thoughts.

Soon you (whether this is true or not is questionable) will face the most intense exam of your lives. Doing well doesn't guarantee success, and doing poorly doesn't mean you'll be miserable, but this exam will definitely change the trajectory of your lives.

It's okay to do poorly on the exam. Even if you only go to a junior college, you can eventually transfer to a four-year university or pursue a master's degree. Studying doesn't mean anything, but not studying really means nothing.

Go to college, meet your roommate who will be with you for four years, have a relationship free from any utilitarian or financial considerations, stroll in the shade of trees, bathed in sunlight, in the prime of your youth.

Four years later, everyone goes their separate ways. Some enter the workforce, while others pursue further studies. From the moment you step into the workforce, you'll realize that your university years were something to look forward to and something to remember.

Your college entrance exam score will determine whether this memory will be more comfortable for you. Although it's not a definitive statement, it's true for most of the time.

University is a microcosm of society. Your college entrance exam score determines the kind of society you enter. Although every society has outstanding individuals, people naturally strive for higher positions and water naturally flows downhill. Do your best to pass the exam.

Nine years of compulsory education and three years of high school—twelve years of hard work may be decided in a single day or night, either soaring to great heights or vanishing into nothingness.

Don't let yourself have any regrets. It may be difficult, but do your best.

A thousand words cannot express my feelings; to put it simply: "Just do your best!"

Good luck on the college entrance exam!
