Liu Anran saw a female zombie struggling to crawl out of a recently buried grave.

Yunlong sat to the side watching Liu Anran work. Seeing that Liu Anran's face was flushed and she was covered in sweat, he couldn't help but think that if his father were here, his mother wouldn't be so tired.
Liu Anran wiped the sweat from her forehead, saw that her palms were already blistered, put down the axe, and sat down to rest.
“Mom, if Dad were here, you wouldn’t have to work so hard,” Yunlong said.
"It's alright, Mom isn't afraid of hard work." Liu Anran smiled and asked, "Does Yunlong miss his father?"

"Mom, let's not go too far, or Dad won't be able to find us," Yunlong said.
Looking at Yunlong's expectant eyes, Liu Anran moved her lips, and finally said helplessly, "Yunlong, if your father is determined to find us, no matter how far we go, even to the ends of the earth, he will find us. If your father is not determined to find us, we are right under his nose, and he will not ignore us."
Yunlong lowered his head sadly, "Does Dad not like us?"
Yunlong said frankly, "Your father loves you, but he doesn't love your mother. Even if he finds us, he can't live with us forever."
"Mom, you're so good to me, but Dad's blind, how come he doesn't like you?" Yunlong said, puzzled.

Liu Anran smiled and patted Yunlong's head. "Are you hungry?"
"I'm a little hungry," Yunlong said. "Mom, I checked, the rice ball and snake meat are still warm."
Liu Anran knew that Yunlong was definitely craving meat but didn't want to eat alone, so she smiled and said, "Really? Then let's go eat quickly, Mom is starving."
The mother and son washed their faces and hands clean. Liu Anran pulled Yunlong to sit at the table, served him a bowl of snake meat, and placed a rice ball in front of him.
"Eat up!" Liu Anran said, handing chopsticks to Yunlong, filling a bowl with snake soup for herself, and then eating a rice ball.
After finishing her meal, Liu Anran washed the pine mushrooms, put them in a sieve, and prepared to stir-fry them the next day.
Seeing that Yunlong had finished eating, Yunlong threw the snake bones he had eaten outside the space and gave them to the black dog that had been sitting outside the space and refused to leave.
The black dog sniffed the snake bone, then looked around in confusion. Seeing no one in sight, it buried its head in its food.
The next morning, Liu Anran cooked vegetable porridge and stir-fried pine mushrooms.
