Chapter 252 Driving a Wuling Mini and making a ruckus around the palace (Part 2)

Li Yao looked at the Hall of Diligent Governance all the way, wanting to show off to her father and her elder brother, the Crown Prince.

As it turned out, they ran into the ministers who were discussing matters here after the morning court session, as well as Prince An.

She intended to stop and greet them, but then she heard the Empress say, "Don't stop, don't stop, uh... find a place... uh... rest... uh... uh... so rude... uh..."

Seeing that the three people in the car were carrying trash cans, Li Yao thought it made sense, so she didn't stop and went around to the side hall.

The Grand Secretary, the Minister of Rites, and Prince An all stared blankly as the Wuling Mini approached, slowed down, and then drove away.

Everyone saw the princess and queen sitting inside the tin box with a pink cat's head painted on it, and they were all completely bewildered. The three of them watched as they walked around the tin box before exchanging a glance.

Everyone saw it in their eyes.

Then the three of them started discussing what it was. They couldn't see a horse or a person pulling it, yet it could move. Suddenly, Prince An said, "I suddenly remembered that I have some business to discuss with the Emperor, so I won't be traveling with you two."

Seeing this, the Grand Secretary also said, "This old minister has also remembered something that I need to discuss with His Majesty again."

The Minister of Rites and the Grand Secretary exchanged a glance and said, "Let's go together, we also have some business to attend to."

Then the three men had the chief steward inform the emperor, and then they all turned around and went back into the palace.

The Emperor had just learned that Princess Chang Le and the Empress had arrived and was about to go to the inner palace when he heard that the three ministers had returned, which puzzled him.

Then Prince An said, "Your Majesty, I haven't seen Chang Le for some time, and I miss her dearly."

The two ministers followed suit, saying, "Your Majesty, we haven't seen Princess Chang Le for quite some time, and we miss her dearly."

The Emperor was puzzled. It was understandable that his elder brother, Prince An, missed Chang Le, but what was the Grand Secretary and the Minister of Rites so eager to miss?

The Emperor said, "Well... Chang Le has just arrived, so why don't we wait and send someone to summon her?"

He wanted to see what these two ministers had to do with his precious daughter.

Upon hearing that it was in the back hall, everyone wanted to go there, but seeing the emperor's bad expression, they dared not act rashly and waited inside the hall.

Li Yao parked the car in the side hall, opened the car door for everyone, and the three of them got out of the car carrying trash cans, squatted down next to the car and started vomiting.

Li Yao never expected that she would get so carsick on a tram after riding in a horse-drawn carriage.

Several eunuchs and palace maids waited to the side, and as soon as the three finished vomiting, they went forward to help them up and walk them to the side hall.

Li Yao also carried the Empress's clothes from the trunk into the palace. She had also prepared motion sickness medicine, giving each of them one pill, and gave them oranges to smell, which made them feel much better.

After the Empress washed up and changed her clothes, Li Yao went to the front hall alone when she heard the Emperor's summons.

After she arrived at the front hall and greeted the Emperor and the others, she noticed that Prince An and two ministers were still looking behind her. Li Yao was puzzled when she heard Prince An say, "Chang Le, where is that iron box with the big cat painted on it that you were just sitting in?"

Li Yao understood now; these people were curious about her carriage. Li Yao replied, "Uncle Wang, the carriage is at the entrance of the side hall. Would you like to ride in it?"

After hearing Li Yao's words, Prince An nodded quickly and said he wanted to sit down.

Seeing this, the other two ministers also stepped forward and told Li Yao that they wanted to ride in that car.

Li Yao said she was fine with it, and when she looked up at her father, who still looked confused, she led him to the side hall.
