The ice tunnels here are naturally formed. Li Yao used her mental power to find the entrance and then teleported there.
This ice tunnel is 50 meters wide and has a large entrance. You can see a faint blue color through the snow from the outside.
Upon entering the ice cave, one is greeted by a sea of blue ice surfaces. The ice formations here are random and quite wild.
Seeing this scene, Li Yao truly felt that nature was amazing.
This natural ice cave is like walking through a crystal palace.
She used her ice-based abilities to sense the ice; it was extremely dense and therefore very hard.
It's a sunny day now, and the ice under the sunlight is even more dazzling, making it look especially dreamy.
The ice tunnel was only 150 meters long, so it wasn't very long. After Li Yao came out of the other end of the ice tunnel, she saw a huge iceberg on the opposite side. It was also light blue and very beautiful.
Li Yao took out her skis and flew across the ice, using her mental power to look down at the ice city. There were many mutated marine creatures in the sea.
For example, leopard seal
It is the largest marine animal in the Antarctic region, with males reaching up to 4,500 pounds and a diving depth of 8,000 feet.
Their unique circulatory system stores and transports blood, and the heart, lungs, and brain all depend on this system.
Fur is very valuable and is the target of many hunters.
There is also a transparent, soft jellyfish that looks like an alien. They come in various shapes and sizes, some bell-shaped and others spherical, called the freshwater comb jellyfish.
There are also transparent, reddish Antarctic krill, sea spiders, sea pigs, sea worms, and so on.
What impressed Li Yao the most was the sea worm.
Sea worms are invertebrates with a frightening appearance but incredibly powerful growth capabilities. They live on the seabed and grow at an astonishing rate, reaching up to 8 inches (20 cm) long and 4 inches (10 cm) wide, and possess retractable mouthparts that can fold inwards into their bodies.
The mutated sea worm is an enlarged version of the original, measuring 1.5 meters long and about 1 meter wide, with retractable mouthparts all over its body.
Thanks to science fiction movies of the past, Li Yao always thought of alien species whenever she saw something with a long mouth, and it gave her goosebumps.
Some movies feature aliens or mutated animals, perhaps because the screenwriters, in order to maintain logical consistency, genuinely draw inspiration from the characteristics of uncommon plants and animals.
However, Li Yao saw more and more plants and animals, each time with a different species, and she couldn't tell if it was just a misconception that they came first or last, as seen in the movie.
Sometimes, seeing it still gives me the creeps.
With goosebumps all over her body, Li Yao quickly glided across the ice towards the orca.
Flying near the orcas, Li Yao scanned them with her mental energy and saw them swimming slowly in the water. She then used her mental energy to speak to the level 7 orcas:
"Orca, orca, can you take me for a swim? I can give you lots of fish as payment."
The orca, seeing the powerful aura emanating from the two-legged creature before it, decided to give in, knowing it couldn't defeat it anyway and would be rewarded with fish.
Then Li Yao heard the orca let out a soft groan, a sound that conveyed agreement and willingness.
So Li Yao put away her skis, leaped onto the orca's back, and 6834 snuggled into Li Yao's scarf and lay on her shoulder.
Li Yao gently patted the orca to indicate that she was seated properly.
The orca then began to wiggle its fins and swim on the surface of the sea. Knowing that the two-legged creature could not breathe underwater, it did not fully enter the ocean.
But just being on the sea was enough fun, Li Yao thought to herself, she's now a woman who's ridden an orca.
