Chapter 120 Shelter from the wind and rain is not enough

Capital University of Foreign Studies.

"Boss, shall we move this?" Zheng An picked up a file organizer from the table: "Wow, this thing is so heavy."

Ji Yuzhi glanced at it casually: "Move."

"Okay." Zheng An carried the big thing out of the dormitory.

"Yuzhi, do you think this will be useful?" Feng Li showed Ji Yuzhi the screen on his phone: "I was thinking of putting this in the office so that everyone can grind some coffee when they're tired. It's just a bit expensive."

Ji Yuzhi took the phone and casually tapped on it: "Buy this one, this brand is good."

Feng Li nodded, and was about to place an order when he checked the price: "Are you serious?"

"Buy it."

"Alright!" Feng Li became more and more interested in the coffee machine after looking at it without even checking the price; he was a crazy coffee lover.

"Yuzhi, the desk has arrived. We need to hurry."

After spending more than half a year together, Zhao Zeyuan gradually became more talkative.

"Okay, you can go now." Ji Yuzhi carried a bag of his favorite books: "Take your keys with you."

Parked downstairs in the dormitory was Ji Yuzhi's white sports car. He had driven it to S City after returning to school during winter break. The books were on the passenger seat, along with some other odds and ends: "Take a taxi there. I'll send you the address to your phones."

"OK."

"I'm not kidding, but no matter how many times I see our boss's car, I still think it's incredibly cool. Look at the way those young girls look at it when they pass by."

As Zheng An spoke, he put his hands in his pants pockets and struck a pose.

"Stop posing, people are looking at you!" Feng Li slapped him on the back of the head. "Hurry up and go. I want to see what our studio is like. Do we have any private offices?"

"By the way, what's the name of our studio?"

Ji Yuzhi smiled and started the car: "You'll know when we get there."

"Alright, let's go too." Zheng An clearly saw that the gazes on him disappeared as the car vanished, and he withdrew his hand listlessly.

I'm so envious.

The studio is a bit far from the school, but quite close to the city center.

"Wow, how much does it cost to rent a place here, boss? We're almost in the city center, aren't we?" Zheng An felt like a migrant worker who had just arrived in the city.

Once the car stopped, the studio's sign was clearly visible to everyone without them having to look for it.

"Work season?" Feng Li read it aloud: "That's interesting, Yu Zhi."

"Let's go." After distributing the items to everyone, Ji Yuzhi locked his car and strode forward.

When they arrived, the installer of the table was already waiting downstairs.

Following them were some workers carrying tables, chairs, and benches.

"Is it this big?"

As soon as he stepped inside, Zheng An exclaimed again, "This must be over a hundred square meters, right? I thought it was just an office of twenty or thirty square meters."

The word "studio" sounds a bit small.

"A little over two hundred." Ji Yuzhi walked to the innermost cubicle, placed the important documents he was carrying on the table, and locked the door.

“You don’t have your own offices; everyone is together. This room of mine is mainly for storing some important things.”

Four or five workers were busy at work on the large, newly renovated open space. Before long, the empty area was filled with desks.

"I thought it would be one of those old-fashioned cubicles." Zheng An happily went up and touched it again and again.

The desks were all uniquely shaped, with two rings of LED lights at the top, giving them a high-tech feel without appearing too rigid, stiff, or distant.

The studio's decor immediately reveals that it's a workspace for young people, brimming with vitality and energy.

Once all the workers had left, only four people remained standing in the large office space.

Ji Yuzhi suddenly smiled.

"Don't laugh, what are you doing?" Zheng An shuddered. "It's chilling."

"Get to work." Zhao Zeyuan had already wisely gone to the toilet to get a basin and a rag, and he tossed one to Zheng An.

"Tsk."

The three of them didn't stand on ceremony and started wiping and touching the things around them.

Ji Yuzhi didn't move; he stood still and looked around.

As the objects that came into view filled his heart little by little.

This is only the first step, he told himself.

This isn't enough to shield Sweetie from the wind and rain.

The studio has a simple layout. Besides the main hall, there are only three rooms: one is Ji Yuzhi's office, which is not very big, about 20 square meters; the other two rooms are a bathroom and a tea room.

The tea room was the largest, with plenty of drinks and a large bookshelf filled with books needed for translation.

These were all contributed by Ji Yuzhi, and most of the books still contain his notes.

The entire hall was divided into three areas: one for simultaneous interpretation, one for daily translation, and the other for reception and operations.

It was already afternoon when I finished cleaning.

Ji Yuzhi ordered takeout and was writing something on a piece of paper while eating.

"These are a few promising people I've observed. Go and sign in at our studio." Ji Yuzhi wrote down their departments and names on the list and handed it to everyone.

"Shall we go?" Zhao Zeyuan looked up.

"We're not as easy to fool as you are," Zheng An said, also puzzled.

"Does this mean I have to handle everything in the studio personally?" Ji Yuzhi raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, you're right." Everyone fell silent.

"For the remaining staff, you can go to the media college across the street and find two people to do operations and two more to handle technical maintenance. I plan to set up a website later. You can contact them as you see fit."

Even during mealtimes, everyone kept busy, sitting down for a brainstorming session. No one complained, after all, it wasn't the first time.

"Alright, that's all for today. I have a few meetings coming up, so you guys can make time to meet up with them and get familiar with the schedule. Zheng An needs to work on his English. You're my right-hand men; you need to be capable enough to earn the respect of others. Any questions?"

He reached out his hand.

"No problem, let's give it our all!" Everyone clasped their hands together and waved them downwards.

Ji Yuzhi stood tall, one hand in his pocket, looking at his three roommates. He lowered his eyelids and smiled slightly. These three had indeed given it their all; how could he not see that?

"You guys keep looking around, I need to take this call." Ji Yuzhi pulled his vibrating phone out of his pants pocket.

"Aunt Lu?" Ji Yuzhi's smile seemed much more genuine.

"Xiaoyuzhi, are you busy?"

Ji Yuzhi strode into the office, closing the door behind him.

"What's all the mystery about?" Zheng An was always restless, and he wanted to eavesdrop.

But Feng Li pulled him back: "Don't mess around."
