Chapter Eleven: Little White Flower Configuration

The desks and chairs were largely unchanged from junior high, and there were still two blackboards, one in front and one in back. It was as if the classroom was just a little bigger. Several biographies and portraits of famous people hung on the wall between the two windows. On the wall opposite the windows, large foam boards were attached, displaying report cards and various notices. There was also a small ventilation window at the very top of the wall. Zhen Tian walked around, taking in the sights.

The instructor coughed twice: "Everyone, put all the chairs on the tables, and stand in the gaps between the desks."

Because the people at the front of the line went first, they all stood at the back after arriving at the classroom. Therefore, the girl who was in front of Zhen Tian is now in the row behind her, while the girl who was a few people away from her is now in front of her.

The girl at the table behind me complained a few times, picked up an iron stool, and stacked it on the table. Suddenly, she fell silent.

Zhen Tian felt as if something had touched her, but she didn't pay attention. She had already placed the stool and stood there.

"Hello everyone, I am the instructor of Class 8. Starting today..."

The instructor made everyone stand at attention. Then we began with brief self-introductions.

The girl in front of Zhen Tian stretched and twisted her arms from side to side. As she turned around, she glanced behind her, and the sight of red stung her eyes.

"What's wrong with you?" Ignoring her request, she turned around and grabbed Zhen Tian's arm. "Damn it, you're bleeding and you didn't know?"

She took out a few tissues from her bag and pressed them against the wound: "The wound is so deep, I have to go to the hospital."

The commotion alerted the instructor, who came down to check and said, "Let's go to the hospital."

Zhen Tian looked at the wound that the girl was pressing on, but felt nothing and had no idea how serious it was.

"I'll take her there." The girl in front grabbed her backpack and pulled Zhen Tian outside.

No one noticed how flustered the girl behind Zhen Tian was.

"You..." The girl frowned and paced back and forth beside Zhen Tian, making Zhen Tian dizzy.

"Thank you." Zhen Tian smiled at the girl after learning that her wound needed stitches and realized the seriousness of the situation.

"Can't you feel such a deep wound?" The girl was caught between anger and indignation by her smile.

“I can’t feel it.” Zhen Tian shook her head, then smiled. “I can’t feel pain; it’s a neurological disorder.”

The nurse looked up at her and said, "I told you, stitching does hurt a little, but you're not scared at all."

"Hehe." She giggled foolishly.

"Ah..." Upon learning of such a secret, the girl scratched her head, and suddenly the atmosphere became a little awkward: "Then aren't you in a lot of danger?"

"So thank you. My name is Zhen Tian. What's yours?"

"Ye Qingyan." The girl licked her lips.

Zhen Tian felt the name sounded familiar, but she was sure she didn't know anyone with that name: "Hello, we'll be classmates from now on, please take care of me."

Ye Qingyan nodded: "But where did you get such a long wound? Do you remember?"

Zhen Tian shook her head, and after a while said, "I remember being bumped by someone when everyone was moving the tables and chairs, but it shouldn't have been me..."

"What do you mean no? It must have been done around that time." Ye Qingyan concluded: "Was it that girl standing behind you? I just couldn't stand her. She kept complaining while we were queuing downstairs. Anyone who didn't know better would think she was some rich young lady."

"It's stitched up. We'll go pay for a tetanus shot in a bit." The nurse bandaged Zhen Tian's arm.

"Um, how much does a tetanus shot cost?" Ye Qingyan rummaged through her pockets. "I didn't bring much money with me to school. I didn't have much left after paying for the stitches."

"It's okay, I have one." Zhen Tian reached for her backpack, only to find that it was still at school.

The two looked at each other in bewilderment.

The nurse smiled and said, "It's alright. I'll talk to the clinic. You can go get your injections first and pay later. Call your family." Then she packed her things and left.

“Um…” Zhen Tian said a little awkwardly, “Do you have a cell phone? I’d like to make a call.”

"Yes, yes, yes." Ye Qingyan unlocked the lock and handed it to her.

"Thank you."

Zhen Tian paused for a moment while holding her phone.

"What's wrong?" Ye Qingyan asked, tilting her head slightly.

"I don't quite remember the phone number," Zhen Tian said with a silly grin.

"…………"

Zhen Tian tried several times, but finally managed to call Ji Yuzhi.

It was during class time, and Ji Yuzhi was sitting in his seat translating the original English text, his phone buzzing in his pants pocket.

He took it out and saw that it was an unfamiliar number.

He hung up and put his phone back in his pocket.

"How about it?"

"She's not answering, she's probably in class." Zhen Tian blinked.

"Do you remember any other people's phone numbers?"

"No……"

“Then send him a text message and tell him your current situation. Isn’t he your brother? He might have thought you were a stranger and ignored you. He’ll definitely call back once he knows you’re in trouble.”

Following Ye Qingyan's instructions, Zhen Tian sent a text message to Ji Yuzhi, telling him that she was injured and in the hospital.

Sure enough, less than two minutes later, Ji Yuzhi called back.

"Sweetie?"

"Just..." Hearing his voice, Zhen Tian suddenly felt a little wronged.

"Don't be afraid, what's wrong? Tell me slowly." Ji Yuzhi's heart trembled at her sobbing voice.

"It's nothing." She sniffed. "I'm at the First Hospital. I just cut my arm and need a tetanus shot, but I don't have any money..."

“I’ll be there soon. Don’t be afraid. Are you all alone? Do you have a teacher with you? Give her the phone.”

Zhen Tian shook her head, then, thinking that Ji Yuzhi couldn't see it either, said, "No, there's a classmate here."

"Then give her the phone."

"Okay." Zhen Tian handed the phone to Ye Qingyan: "You answer it."

Ye Qingyan was completely confused. She took the phone, hummed twice, and hung up.

"What did Zhizhi say?"

"He asked me to take you to get your shot first, and to talk to you to distract you."

"Okay. Let's go get the shot." Zhen Tian stood up.

Ye Qingyan found it strange and followed her.

When they arrived at the place where they were waiting for their number, Ye Qingyan realized what was strange.

"You don't seem scared at all, so why does your brother think you're terrified? He even said you cried... By the way, why were you sobbing when you were on the phone just now?" Ye Qingyan couldn't understand at all.

"Did I?" Zhen Tian had no idea.

"have."

After a while, Ye Qingyan pouted and said, "Damn, I know, you're the standard innocent girl type from novels."

She pinched Zhen Tian's face and looked her over from side to side: "Hmm, she looks alike."

"What little white flower?"

“It’s a white lotus.” Seeing that Zhen Tian still didn’t understand, “It’s the kind of person who could be all-powerful, but when she meets a man, she immediately needs to be protected.”

"Um?"
