"What's in there?"
"A manned centrifuge. If you want to be a pilot, you've definitely tried that."
"Have you used it?"
"No." He crossed his arms, pursed his lips, and shook his head. "I heard that this thing is very painful, and few people can actually persevere to the passing line."
"Does anyone know about the ones in front?"
"You haven't asked yet. I can ask for you."
He placed a hand on the shoulder of the man in front of him and shouted in a frivolous tone, "Hey, brothers! The beautiful lady behind you wants to ask you, do you know anyone who is inside?"
"I know!" A bald young man at the top of the line responded immediately, but before he could continue, the small door blocking him was opened from the inside.
A pale-faced guy crawled out, and No. 032 immediately ran forward to support him.
Time waits for no one. The bald young man swallowed his saliva and walked into the door.
The door closed again, and the sound in the room seemed to be blocked by some material. People outside the door could only hear some faint motor sounds.
No. 032 brought his brother back and had him sit against the wall on the other side of the aisle. He took deep breaths for a few minutes, and his complexion improved slightly.
"How are your grades?"
"Just barely, just barely... I feel like vomiting. Leave me alone for a while."
"How much did they speed up to?"
No. 033 did not answer, but just looked up at the ceiling blankly. He felt a strange illusion, as if all objects were pressing towards him at a rapid speed.
"Don't worry." Jiang Ling stepped forward and patted No. 032's shoulder. "The implant in his brain isn't a big deal. Only a few capillaries are damaged. There should be a doctor inside to check it out. The fact that they can release him means the situation is within reasonable limits."
No. 032 nodded, tidied up No. 033's clothes, and then went back to the back of the line.
After a while, the bald young man was carried out. He was lying on a mobile bed and seemed to have lost consciousness.
The person behind him twitched his eyes and hesitated at the door for a while. Only after hearing the urging from inside did he bite the bullet and walk in.
"Does anyone else know what's going on inside?" Jiang Ling asked personally when the small door was closed.
"It's a centrifuge!" a voice came from behind her. "Ah, I used to be a fighter pilot. If I remember correctly, the entry-level qualification for aircraft was 5G, and the qualifying level for astronauts should be 8G."
"How much is 8G?"
"It's like your weight suddenly increased eightfold, or the instantaneous acceleration of jumping from a three-story building, which is about 8G overload."
"Oh? If that's all, then I should be fine."
"Maybe." The man shrugged. "By the way, the man who was just carried away seemed familiar. What happened to him?"
"I took a quick look, but didn't pay much attention." Jiang Ling replied, "Are you sure he's also a pilot?"
"Of course he is. He lives next door to me..."
