Chapter 108: The Quiet Earth-Moon Lagrange Point L2 (Sixty-One)

Qin Xiaoxian and his group passed between the two enemies who were on the verge of a fight, leaving behind a graceful back view for Qin Zhongquan. The door of the restaurant opened and closed again, and the oppressive atmosphere that had been briefly broken soon recovered and showed a tendency to intensify.

"Damn Hongling, if you have the guts, accompany me to the universe to have a fleet battle!" The blue-haired girl was the first to attack, and her gritted teeth expression ruined the beauty of her face.

"Oh my..." The guy called "Hongling" crossed his arms over his chest, and two lumps of fat finally burst out under the pressure. "Sister Xue, this is too formal. I have an agreement with your emperor that the fleet cannot enter the inner ring, otherwise you will unite the three families to bully a weak woman like me, wuwuwu..."

"Then tell them to leave and go back to where they came from! You can't get in anyway, so why are you blocking the way here? You're just occupying the toilet without doing anything!"

"The gate is over there." Hongling's voice changed from a clip to a queenly one. "If you want to leave, I never stopped you! It's because there have been so many meteorites on Earth recently. My dear sister, you can't blame anyone for your bad luck."

"You - humph!" The blue-haired girl was anxious and angry. The tables and chairs around her creaked due to her unconscious release of energy. "Since you don't want to leave, then don't leave!" The meridians on her face bulged and her body quickly changed.

"You're so impatient. Then I'll play with you!" Hongling took off her coat, and the spring scenery was only retained for a moment, and then immediately torn apart by the exaggerated muscles that grew wantonly.

Qin Zhongquan's pupils shrank in disbelief. He had never seen anyone else possess such power; at best, they possessed psychic abilities similar to his own. He ignored the unfinished dishes on the round table and scrambled towards the bar, using it as cover as he cautiously continued his observation.

In just a short while, two monsters appeared among the crowd.

The blue-haired creature transformed into a giant eagle with the form of a human. It stood at an estimated 2.7 meters tall, just slightly shorter than the restaurant entrance. Its body was covered in fluffy white feathers, giving it a somewhat puffy appearance. A ring of blue clung to its neck, like a beautiful piece of jewelry, while the feathers on its head curled upward like a natural crown. Its arms were long and slender, with a membrane of flesh between the joints and the sides of its body, also covered in feathers. One could easily imagine their purpose. Its claws were long and pointed, like the sharpness of a sickle, and even the sharpened edges reflected the uniquely cold gleam of metal in the light.

Hong Ling transformed into a large, six-legged cyan insect, significantly shorter and smaller than the other creature. Its body was covered in an exoskeleton, its joints barbed with barbs. Its hands held two large swords, which seemed to vibrate rhythmically. The blades rubbed fiercely against the air, already radiating a red heat. Its head bore two retractable, spherical compound eyes, resembling ripe sunset fruits under the light.

The battle between the birds and the insects was about to break out, and Qin Zhongquan realized belatedly that his escape route was blocked by two violent lunatics. The movements between them were so fast that to ordinary people, they were barely visible as afterimages. Every window in the restaurant shattered in the occasional sonic booms. Qin Zhongquan covered his ears and lay on the ground. Beside him, two waiters who had been caught in the fray had already been cut to pieces.

[Xue Ji, defeated.] Hong Ling said in a steady voice.

[Come and chop me if you dare!] The big bird fought back without mercy.

[Tsk, promises, what an inconvenience.] Hong Ling's figure appeared on the ceiling for a moment, and then a large hole appeared in the floor, and debris and construction waste piled up on the ground like a small mountain.

The restaurant's power was quickly cut, severely impacting Qin Zhongquan's vision. Concerned that his psychic abilities might be misinterpreted by the monsters, he could only rely on sound to locate his position and frantically avoid the aftermath of their attacks. He was now moving towards the restaurant's kitchen. The empty space of the main hall was already fraught with danger. Without the aid of a military exoskeleton, escape seemed impossible. The only shelter he could find was the enclosed kitchen.
