The history of mankind is a history of war!
The long war changed everything, created everything, and destroyed everything, and the family spread wildly in the cracks of the war. Countless talents and fools, wise men and mediocre people, responsible people and borers emerged in the long river of history, creating immortal monuments from generation to generation.
A thousand years is neither long nor short. It is so long that people forget their surnames, their hometowns, and their culture. It is also so short that the stars blink, Halley's Comet disintegrates in close orbit around the sun, forests encroach on swamps, and wild beasts overrun cities.
The former heroes have become ignored, and the former masterpieces are covered in dust. Only one name is still remembered by people - Khan K. Qin.
("Khan K. Qin" is simply written as "Khan K. Qin," and in reality, no one knows its exact pronunciation. These things, which "we" consider extremely ordinary, have become a near-religious belief for the people of the New World. In other words, they have their own history, culture, language, and technology, and "I" am simply trying to express them in a way that "we" are familiar with.)
A new civilization was born in the flesh and blood of the giant beast. This civilization, calling itself the "Naya Federation", used the thoughts of Khan K. Qin as its soul and skeleton, and reconstructed everything that mankind depended on for survival.
Catherine Robert, the 149th generation descendant of the Robert family, is about to pass the test and take over everything in this thousand-year-old family.
"Catherine? Catherine!" A gentle, calm yet stern voice appeared in Catherine's mind, interrupting her memories.
"Yes, yes! Teacher DQ!" Catherine responded quickly.
"Catherine, your network signal is unstable. Didn't you get enough rest?" DQ's voice sounded a little skeptical. It was obvious that she had a preconceived notion that Catherine was slacking off.
"No, I rested well. Thank you for your concern, teacher. I'm just studying several courses at the same time, so my bandwidth is always a little insufficient." Catherine replied politely.
"In that case, please answer the question I just asked—why did the Empire's goal of unifying humanity fail?"
Catherine hesitated for a moment, but then calmly pressed the issue, "Teacher, before we proceed, I'd like to ask which empire you're talking about?"
"Dear Catherine, what other empire could it be?" Teacher DQ said matter-of-factly. "Of course, it's the empire our ancestors defeated three hundred years ago. Some who claim to be descendants of the empire would call that evil country the Binary Republic."
"So it's that? I thought it was the ancient Red Moon Empire, the Second Red Moon Empire, and the New Qin Empire!" Catherine breathed a sigh of relief, then replied seriously, "Teacher DQ, if it's this empire, I think its failure is largely due to human nature. When the empire annexed all of the satellites of the sixth planet, the fear of the other nations reached its limit. At that point, everyone was united, at least in the general direction of the future, and people with cohesion will never lose. In this way, in the long run, the empire's failure is inevitable."
"This is a textbook summary. Have you prepared for the following content in advance?" the teacher praised.
"No, it's a summary of what I've learned," Catherine replied.
