Ji Qianchong paid the bill and the waiter handed the bill and bank card back to her.
She glanced at the last digit of the bill and was about to say something when a warm body came up from behind.
Ji Liangnian held her in his arms, held her hand and walked out of the restaurant.
As the girl left, she glanced sideways at the hall and muttered, "Chanel is having a limited-time discount, and this new restaurant is also having a promotion. I won the grand prize."
She murmured a few words, then looked up at him, "How lucky."
With a smile on his face, his eyes became curved and his eyelashes curled.
The well-behaved little face becomes playful and cute when it smiles.
The man lowered his eyes and fixed them on her delicate face. "You're so happy to have won a prize?"
"Of course." The two walked into the elevator side by side. Ji Liangnian put her beside him and pressed the button for the basement floor.
Ji Qianchong continued, "Although I'm not short of money, winning the lottery has nothing to do with the amount of money. This is a surprise."
She looked up and explained to him, "Because girls like surprises, most men label them as materialistic. In fact, it has nothing to do with money, they just want to be loved and pampered."
"It would be very happy to receive a small gift every day, even if it is just a thousand paper cranes."
Ji Liangnian looked down at her and said calmly, "Are you materialistic?"
Ji Qianchong obviously didn't expect him to ask this. He raised his eyebrows and replied jokingly, "Materialistic, I'm the most materialistic."
The man hummed.
Seeing that he didn't say anything, Ji Qianchong pouted slightly. She took his arm and leaned her head slightly against him.
He looked straight ahead, gazing at their reflections on the elevator door.
Gently, she smiled and said, "My mother died early, and I lived in the Qian family in the capital for five years. When I was young, I didn't know how to be on guard, nor did I know what dislike was."
"Seeing Qian Kang'an holding Qianxue, I also wanted to go up and let my dad hold me. Qian Kang'an and Li Muzi would beat me for a toy, and I didn't hide at that time, I just stood there and got beaten."
"Grandpa couldn't stand it anymore, so he sent someone to take me to the Qian family's old house in Haicheng. Grandpa is in poor health and was supposed to be living out his days in Haicheng, but I kept bothering him every day."
"Maybe Grandpa is the grand prize God gave me." Ji Qianchong turned his head, rested his chin on the man's strong arm, and looked at him, "You are my special prize."
"Brother, do you remember what you did when you first arrived at the Qian Family Mansion in Haicheng?" She didn't wait for his answer and said, "I was playing in the mud in the garden with Grandpa on my back, and you walked over and picked me up."
"You said, what small meatballs." She laughed.
"From the time I was eight to fourteen, you were always with me. You would wake me up in the morning, put my clothes together, and pick me up from school."
"You gave me presents on my birthday and always lost to me in games. Because you said that a brother should give in to his sister. You said you would let me have you forever..."
In the closed elevator, the sound stopped abruptly.
The man suddenly kissed her. Ji Qianchong was stunned for a moment and opened his eyes slightly.
They were so close that she could feel his warm breath on her cheek.
His back was pressed against the wall, and Ji Qianchong suddenly came to his senses. He put his hand on his chest and pushed him back a little.
Before he could push, the kiss deepened.
"Ji Liangnian..."
Ji Qianchong instinctively frowned because of the pain.
The man let her go.
The two pairs of eyes met, their gazes overlapping, and the fingertips of Ji Qianchong's hand hanging by his side trembled violently.
