Conclusion of Volume 4

It was only when I read the comments of fellow book lovers yesterday that I remembered that I had not yet written a summary at the end of the volume.

I really don’t know what to say…

Let me report the results first.

The average subscription of Shao Song has dropped from 100,000 to 21,000, which is a huge improvement. The leader's subscription is also almost 150,000. It can be seen that the readers are very supportive.

Even "Fu Han" was sold for nearly 20,000 yuan.

However, the readers are awesome, I'm obviously a sucker.

The person is ruined.

This is not only due to laziness, but also to mentality, and then there are problems with level of ability...

If I think about it carefully, it's not just that my body, energy and spirit are naturally weak in the middle and late parts of the book, but the key is that after the Battle of Yaoshan, it completely deviates from the original historical structure and enters the stage of deduction. I really don't know how to write it.

Old book friends should know that I don’t have an outline, or rather an alternative outline. Sometimes when I listen to music or read historical materials, I will have random thoughts in my mind and think of a few shots... and then connect the plot based on those shots.

Connect several plots together, and then arrange the characters, and then the general plot will emerge.

So I often have no idea how to write the rest of the book. And often when a volume of chapters is released, the previous plots seem to be of poor quality and not as comfortable as a few specific chapters.

Of course, the cycle of this plot connection is not as short as everyone thinks... Just like the alliance and coronation plot in this volume, it was basically conceived in the White Horse plot before the return of the Two Saints. At that time, Xixia was mentioned frequently, which meant laying the map in advance.

The plot of the Tangut imperial concubine was also an ambush for the plot of the concubine and vassal from the beginning. I have to admit that maybe through the update, I have selected a group of old readers, and everyone's tolerance for me has greatly increased. After this plot came out, I was a little scared and thought there might be trouble, but in fact there was not much trouble.

It went smoothly very quickly.

Of course, there are also short-term plots, such as Crow Noodles with Soy Sauce, which is a short-term one… To be honest, I have a deep impression of Crow Noodles with Soy Sauce, and it has been reflected in my mind for a long time. When I was very young, I was shocked to see Chang'e and Houyi talking about Crow Noodles with Soy Sauce like gossips and housewives, but I never thought of using this stalk… Then I recently re-read the Complete Works of Lu Xun, and suddenly saw those mortal heroes, gods, and ancient saints again, and instantly I had a feeling - I must use Crow Noodles with Soy Sauce!

As for Yelu Dashi, this character was also thought of from the very beginning...even earlier than the plot of the alliance and coronation. The idea was to have him come and go like the wind, and that would be the end of it.

He is not as gay as everyone thinks, but there is no doubt that this man should be the protagonist's true confidant, a confidant in terms of nationalism and national responsibility.

As for the terms "vassal" and "subordinate" are traditional terms in Chinese history, please don't take it too far.

There is also Yue Fei in this volume. To be honest, there are quite a lot of scenes about Yue Fei in this volume, but I do want Yue Fei to be crowned king so early, and he has always been kept in reserve. He should have a grand battle in Hebei, but it is hard to say whether this battle will be in the next volume or the next volume, or even later.

It depends on how far the book goes.

Apart from that, I feel that the chapter about the white horse in this volume was a bit too much... Although I have repeatedly emphasized that the real enemy the protagonist was facing at the time was not the Two Saints, but the opposition and the steady faction whose moral abilities were not a problem. These were the real enemies of the protagonist in the first half of the volume, and the Two Saints were just their slogans, but it still seemed a bit too much on the Two Saints themselves.

However, even if we remove the argument in the chapter, the chapter's narration broke my personal record. An 8,000-word chapter has more than 6,000 narrations. I don't know whether it is a success or a failure.

But all in all, it could have been better on that plot.

Honestly, sometimes when I watch these episodes, hear people’s reactions, and think back to my previous expectations, I clearly feel that I’m getting old… and out of touch with the times.

You may even feel that it is inconsistent with everyone's aesthetic standards.

Because sometimes the climax scenes I imagined really came out, but the response was not necessarily very strong. During the writing process, I felt that I couldn't delay the polishing of the characters any longer, so I came up with some short-term plot echoes, and the response was good... Maybe it was a short-term burst of inspiration? It's just a problem of the plot brewing cycle?

I don’t know what it is or if I’m thinking too much.

And it's not only a problem of aesthetics, I feel like my level has reached its limit. I clearly think I can write better, but often after I put pen to paper, the result is still far from my psychological expectations. I don't know if it's because I'm damaged or my aesthetic ability has improved. In any case, there is a contradiction between the fact that my creative level will maintain a low level for a long time and the people (including myself) have an ever-increasing cultural demand.

Of course, the above are all my own nonsense. Now that the novel is written, the criteria and results of the judging have nothing to do with me. You have the final say... To put it bluntly, "Shao Song" is like a grenades that are afraid of water and know nothing!

It's just a humanoid typing machine that steals everyone's enthusiasm and inspiration and makes a profit from it.

I work three days and paint two days.

In addition, there is another good news. I don’t know whether I should say it here, or if it’s a bit early, but I don’t know where else to say it if not here... "Shao Song" should be adapted into a comic, and it will be through the channel of Tencent Comics. It should take some time before there is a result. Anyway, I am an outsider. I only know that the contract has just been signed, and the contract has been sent out... I don’t understand comics, but I saw it on Weibo and it feels good!

My dear, there is more to this chapter. Please click on the next page to continue reading. It’s even more exciting later!
