Conclusion of Volume 4

I would like to thank the editor-in-chief Ruili and the editor-in-charge Shuize for their assistance.

Having said that, I really don’t know what to say.

Let me summarize this volume.

This volume is obviously divided into two parts. The first half is about dealing with the internal peace talks and welcoming back the two saints. The second half is about the surprise attack on Xixia and the three-party alliance.

Of course there is a reason why they are put together.

That is, from a big picture perspective, there was only one reason why these things happened - after the Yaoshan battle, the Jurchens chose to retreat strategically.

Everything, from inside to outside, from south to north, happened because of the strategic contraction of the Jurchens. It was because the Jurchens chose to retreat strategically that the Zhao Song, which had grown up in the previous war, had enough military margin.

To put it bluntly, this volume is about the protagonist overcoming the country's internal muscle paralysis and leading the entire country to open its arms. After being beaten for seven or eight years, he can finally show his strength... This is roughly the theme.

During the creation process of this volume, I would like to especially thank the academy, the book review section, and several map creators on this page. They provided me with enough maps for the obscure military descriptions for everyone to view. This contribution is huge.

There is also Ms. Mei, who wrote a group of fan fiction in Old Ford, in which the characters in the book gathered together to read their original biographies in "History of the Song Dynasty". It was a great piece of writing.

This is a very outstanding set of fan fiction, highly recommended (to be honest, I haven't finished reading the biographies of these people).

Then let’s talk about the next volume.

What should I write in the next volume? Does anyone have any ideas? I am a little confused, just like before starting almost every volume.

But one advantage now is that the character images of the protagonist and many supporting roles have already come out, and characters such as Xiaolin Xueshi and Liu Ziyu have also returned. Once the plot is decided, allowing the characters to act according to their own personalities, identities, abilities, and wills, perhaps it may be possible to continue writing.

Moreover, in a new volume, there must be new characters appearing and new plots unfolding.

I'm admittedly not good at developing new plots, and the beginning of each volume is terrible, but on the other hand, every time I write a new plot, I have an unprecedented sense of calmness... because the previous volume is more or less completed, which is equivalent to painting on a blank sheet of paper again. Before it becomes a mess, there is a somewhat unrealistic sense of expectation.

As I said, I'm really old, and my brain has degenerated... I have so much to say before I open the keyboard, but I don't know what to say once I pick up the pen.

In short, let's cherish each other's company! Although I am old, it is our fate after all. Please don't leave me. I still count on you to support me and keep me warm in the winter!

That’s all, good night!

By the way, I would like to thank the new alliance leader, Fuping Hou Yixiao, the 148th cutest character in this book!
