Chapter 153 Preparations for the Arrest Operation
The afternoon sun filtered through the camphor leaves surrounding the Blue Bay Villa, casting dappled shadows on the ground. Su Yingxue's barbecue stall was still bustling with activity. The bodyguards would always stop by when they changed shifts, and even the security personnel on patrol couldn't resist going around to the stall to buy a couple of steaming hot skewers to satisfy their cravings.
While skillfully flipping and grilling the skewers, brushing on oil and sprinkling seasonings with fluid movements, Su Yingxue kept a close eye on the movements at the villa's gate.
Her gaze seemed to be fixed on the sizzling, oily grilled pork tenderloin, but in reality, she was observing the people entering and leaving the villa through the reflection of the grill.
In the morning, there were only a few people moving around, but in the afternoon, several black cars drove in silently. The windows were covered up so that the people inside could not be seen, but judging from the tense expressions of the bodyguards driving the cars and the weapons that were vaguely visible at their waists, the newcomers were definitely not good people.
What made her heart sink even more was that when she was delivering supplies to the villa's kitchen, she overheard a conversation between two bodyguards: "Tonight's work has been brought forward. Boss Lu told us to be there by six o'clock, so there shouldn't be any mishaps."

She had originally agreed with Lin Xiaoman that tomorrow night would be the time for the drug deal, and the police had already laid a tight net around the villa. Su Yingxue put on a perfectly timed smile, lifted a corner of the insulated box, and a rich aroma immediately wafted out.
"Chef Zhang from the kitchen said that Mr. Lu ate the kebabs I made for lunch and thought they tasted good. He asked me to make some more special snacks to send in, saying that there would be distinguished guests coming in the evening and he wanted to add a few dishes to go with drinks."
The bodyguard frowned, and just as he hesitated, a familiar figure walked out of the villa—it was Xiao Wang.
He had just finished a round of inspections, and his stomach was growling with hunger. As soon as he smelled the aroma from the insulated box, his eyes lit up instantly, and he quickly walked over: "Sister Su? What are you doing here? What's that smell?"
"I just finished delivering the goods to the kitchen. I was thinking that you and Brother Qiang like my cooking, so I made extra kebabs and fried rice. I was wondering if I could bring them in for you."
Su Yingxue took out two skewers of freshly grilled gluten and handed them to Xiao Wang, saying, "They're still hot. Try them first. They're the mildly spicy flavor you like."
Xiao Wang was already completely powerless against Su Yingxue's cooking skills, and the alluring aroma immediately caught his eye.
Having long forgotten the rules, she took the gluten and began to chew it heartily, saying indistinctly as she ate, "Delicious! So fragrant! Sister Su, come with me, I'll take you inside. Brother Qiang and the others are resting inside too, they must want to eat as well."
When the bodyguards at the door saw Xiao Wang appear, they didn't dare to stop him anymore, but simply told him, "Don't wander off, stay with Brother Xiao Wang."
Su Yingxue nodded, pushing the insulated box and following behind Xiao Wang into the Blue Bay Villa. As soon as she entered the gate, she felt a completely different atmosphere from the outside; a sense of oppressive tension permeated the air.
The villa's interior was luxuriously decorated, with marble floors that gleamed like mirrors. Bodyguards with stern faces stood on both sides of the corridor, each holding a weapon and scanning everyone who passed by with wary eyes.
Xiao Wang led her through a long corridor, where they encountered many burly men in black suits. Their gazes toward Su Yingxue were full of scrutiny, causing her to involuntarily tighten her grip on the handle of the insulated box.
"Sister Su, don't be afraid, I'm here." Xiao Wang was very carefree and didn't notice Su Yingxue's strange behavior at all. He even introduced her with great interest.
"We have big business tonight. Boss Lu has invited a lot of distinguished guests. Your skills will come in handy, and you might even be able to make some extra money."
Su Yingxue smiled perfunctorily, but in her mind she was quickly memorizing the layout along the way.
The villa has a complex internal structure with numerous branching paths, and bodyguards guard every key intersection, making its defense virtually impenetrable.
She followed Xiao Wang to a temporary rest room, where Wang Zhiqiang was sitting on the sofa smoking, with several unfamiliar burly men sitting next to him, all with solemn expressions.
"Brother Qiang, look who I brought!" Xiao Wang shouted excitedly, "Sister Xiao Su brought us some delicious food!"
Wang Zhiqiang was taken aback when he saw Su Yingxue. Then he frowned, his tone carrying a hint of displeasure.
"How did you get in? Didn't I tell you to wait outside?"
"I brought Sister Xiao Su in."
Xiao Wang quickly spoke up for her, "Brother Qiang, Sister Su's kebabs are so delicious, and Mr. Lu loves them too. We have important guests tonight, so let Sister Su make some more delicious food to make them happy."
Su Yingxue quickly echoed Xiao Wang's words: "Brother Qiang, I know the rules. I just thought everyone was working hard, so I specially made some snacks and brought them over. I'll leave after I finish eating and I won't wander around."
As she spoke, she opened the insulated box and took out the skewers and fried rice one by one, and the rich aroma instantly filled the entire lounge.
The burly men, who had originally looked solemn, softened their expressions after smelling the aroma and gathered around.
"This aroma is amazing, it looks delicious." A burly man with a face full of scars picked up a skewer of grilled sausage, took a big bite, and sighed with satisfaction.
Seeing this, Wang Zhiqiang didn't dare to drive them away any further. He simply said in a deep voice, "Finish your meal and leave quickly. There are many rules inside. Don't cause yourself any trouble."
Su Yingxue had already added something to the food. Based on the principle of food pairings, they added croton powder to the skewers and served them with strong tea. Anyone who ate it would lose their strength shortly after.
Su Yingxue nodded in agreement, handing out snacks to everyone while discreetly observing the people in the room. Most of them had fierce eyes and exuded a menacing aura; some even had grime still clinging to their fingers, as if they had just come from somewhere.
She noticed that when Wang Zhiqiang was talking to one of the men wearing gold-rimmed glasses, he deliberately lowered his voice and vaguely heard words such as "goods," "time," and "rendezvous," which made her even more certain that tonight's transaction was by no means a simple business deal.
The news of the earlier transaction time had to be spread as soon as possible. Su Yingxue was burning with anxiety, but on the surface, she remained calm and composed as she greeted everyone.
Under the pretext of going to the restroom, she secretly took out a small note and a pen that she had prepared in advance from her pocket, hid in the restroom stall, and quickly wrote down "The transaction is moved up to 6 pm tonight. Adjust your plans immediately."
