Chapter 20 A Small Test, A Successful First Battle

The two young women immediately took a liking to the set, each grabbing one and trying it on, comparing how it looked on Liu Hongju.

After a while, one of the young women asked, "How much is a set?"

He Qiuying glanced at her: "Eighteen yuan, no ticket required."

Upon hearing this, the two were delighted. Eighteen yuan for a dress without coupons was more cost-effective than buying fabric and having it made by a tailor. They were immediately tempted.

After discussing it for a moment, the other young woman pleaded with a smile, "I really like this dress, can we wear one?"

Another person chimed in, "Give me one set too, just one set will do."

He Qiuying and Ji Xia exchanged a smile and nodded: "Alright, one set each, you can have it."

The two were immediately delighted upon hearing this. They paid for the clothes and one asked curiously, "How many sets did you get in total? Is this the only style?"

"There are two styles, but they've only agreed to give us eight sets for now. The other one is a dress."

As soon as Ji Xia asked, the two little girls immediately became interested and asked, "What does a dress look like? Can we see it too?"

Ji Xia shrugged and shook her head helplessly: "How could I dare to take so many? I only took four of these today, I'll get the dresses tomorrow."

The two girls were still a little skeptical, but Ji Xia and He Qiuying both insisted that there were no such things, and promised to save two sets for them the next day, so the two left satisfied.

Liu Hongju, standing to the side, pouted in dissatisfaction: "You brought these clothes and you're giving them to others? Now I'm left with nothing?"

Ji Xia chuckled and whispered, "What are you worried about? If you have money, why worry about not having clothes? We'd like to discuss a big money-making plan with you!"
