Before falling, I heard the man laughing maniacally, saying that he had finally avenged the Great Sage.
What does the Great Sage have to do with him?
Fang Rong felt weak all over, his fingertips twitched slightly, and his consciousness slowly blurred. He vaguely saw a white figure suddenly dart out and fall down with him.
Bang!
Water splashed everywhere, but Fang Rong didn't struggle at all. She sank down and was swept away by the flood.
The white figure swam anxiously towards him, its wings flapping against the water's surface, like a swan that had fallen into the water and was swept away by the surging flood, gradually disappearing from sight.
Fang Rong completely lost consciousness and was unconscious.
Suddenly, a white figure emerged from the water, its huge wings flapping as it swam through the air. After a while, it dived back into the water and resurfaced with a person's collar in its mouth.
The floodwaters were swift, tossing the two men about and making them drift downstream. They didn't know how long they had been floating when suddenly a depression appeared in front of them, like a waterfall, and with a whoosh, it pushed them into it.
The water flowed relatively gently as it descended the waterfall. Fang Hua shot out a wooden vine, which bound a branch floating on the water's surface. He pulled it over forcefully, placed Fang Rong on it, and pushed her along in the water.
The flood covered a large area, and coupled with the presence of a large stream in the area, it took them most of the day to finally reach the shore.
Fang Hua shook off the wet fur on his body, picked up Fang Rong, and left.
Fang Rong seemed to be sick; although she was still breathing faintly, her heartbeat was barely audible.
He took off Fang Rong's few clothes and hugged him to keep warm. It was still raining outside, and the two of them huddled under a tree root, the thick root completely blocking out the rain.
The ground was still a little damp, but then a red light emanated from Fang Hua's body. The red light gradually spread, enveloping Fang Rong and drying out the ground.
There were still some leaves in the tree hole, which were almost set on fire because they lost moisture instantly from being baked by him.
Fang Hua channeled his spiritual energy into the spatial necklace and retrieved the quilt and animal hide. As the owner of the mecha, the spatial necklace recognized him, allowing him to take things at will.
With animal hides laid underneath and a quilt wrapped around his body, Fang Rong's condition had improved considerably. Although his face was still deathly pale, his heartbeat had become stronger.
Fang Rong transformed into his original form, his enormous body completely shielding him from the wind and rain.
Because the hole was small, he had to bend over, which was especially hard work.
Fang Rong woke up once in a daze and called out to Fang Hua.
Fang Hua quickly went over, and as soon as he left, the wind blew in again, and some rainwater blew into the cave, splashing on Fang Rong's face, making it impossible for him to open his eyes.
"Come here..."
Fang Hua rubbed his head against his face, his back was wet.
"Let's sleep together." Fang Rong reached out and touched it, feeling a slight pang of heartache.
"Mmm~" Fang Hua licked him and continued to block the cave entrance, sheltering him from the wind and rain.
"Idiot." Fang Rong cursed, but her eyes slowly reddened.
He came out at noon, wearing very little clothing. Later, he took off his pants when passing through the cave entrance, and the water was cold. He got a fever after soaking in the water for a day, and his mind was almost completely muddled.
Where are we now?
"have no idea."
Where are we now?
"have no idea."
"Fang Hua, where are we now?"
"have no idea."
"Fang Hua, are you there, Fang Hua?"
"I am here."
"Fang Hua, are you there?"
"exist."
He was like a lunatic, asking the same question over and over again, even after he had already asked it, he would forget about it a little while later and keep asking.
Fang Hua answered patiently, responding to every call, flicking his tail to shoo away the honey-sized mosquitoes.
These things suck blood and spread diseases. Fang Rong is sick and cannot be allowed to get close to them.
Without medicine, Fang Rong's illness seemed to be getting worse. He had run out of the cold medicine he brought with him when he arrived. At that time, he was also getting sick every few days. He started by relying on medicine, and later on his superpowers.
Green light emanated from Fang Hua's body and seeped into Fang Rong's body bit by bit, but for some reason, Fang Rong still did not wake up.
His illness seems to be quite serious this time; he was struck by lightning by that person, and his internal organs have begun to shrink.
Fang Hua's wood-based superpowers were like a drop in the ocean for him, unable to keep up with the rate at which his internal organs were shrinking.
The rain outside has been relentless, dripping and pattering, which is incredibly annoying.
However, there was no wind anymore, and the rain wouldn't blow in. Fang Hua curled up into a ball, his silvery-yellow fur encircling Fang Rong, so that he could touch him with just a reach.
The rain stopped sometime earlier. Fang Hua stuck his head out to look, wanting to go outside to hunt, but he was worried about Fang Rong, so he stayed in the cave and waited for the rabbit to come to him.
Persistence pays off. Finally, a small, oblivious animal ran over and hopped around at the entrance of the cave, completely unaware of the danger approaching.
Fang Hua raised his head and stared intently at the lively, rabbit-like animal.
He stood up, watched the rabbit slowly approaching, and pounced on it.
"Ouch~" I bumped my head.
The opening was too small, and when he jumped up, he almost broke the tree roots at the entrance.
Fang Hua fell to the ground and kicked his legs, pretending to be dead.
The rabbit, which had initially been frightened by him, now curiously ran over and circled around him, seemingly trying to determine whether Fang Hua was genuine or not.
Fang Hua remained motionless, patiently waiting until the rabbit finally couldn't resist getting closer, then suddenly stood up and pounced.
"Ouch~" I bumped my head again.
Fang Hua kicked his leg and fell to the ground, unable to get up, his eyes still darting around at the rabbit with resentment.
