Red Line Fate

Red Line Fate

Anger and powerlessness enveloped Fang Henian, and his rationality was no longer there. He wanted to push away the man who was in the way in front of him and get closer to Fang Huai.

At worst, he can just quit and not work during the shipping period.

Fang Henian looked Kong Lingyu up and down with his chin raised. "It was you who broke up my brother and Li Xuan. You are just a shameful mistress."

"You have no right to meddle in our affairs."

Facing Kong Lingyu's half-smile, Fang Henian said stubbornly, "As long as Li Xuan comes back, my brother will definitely come back."

"Has that been enough?"

Kong Lingyu folded his hands and looked at Fang Henian leisurely. His face was calm and he never took Fang Henian's words to heart. When the other party called him a mistress, he raised his eyebrows with interest and said, "I don't care."

"What did you say?"

Fang Henian didn't expect Kong Lingyu to react like this. He was stunned and asked in disbelief, "You don't care?"

Kong Lingyu tilted his head, his naturally white eyes slightly turned upwards. His pale skin and dark eyes made him look sinister. He put his hands in his pockets, raised an eyebrow and said, "Looking at you like this, it seems like you care more than I do?"

"Since in your mind I am the third party between them, then you should also know that a shameless third party like me will not let go if I have the opportunity to get promoted." Kong Lingyu smiled and said, "He won't have the chance."

Kong Lingyu took out his phone and waved it in the air, deliberately revealing the same DIY phone case as Fang Huai's. "Go back, he doesn't want to see you."

Fang Henian underestimated Kong Lingyu. How could someone so confidently admit these unbearable labels?

He didn't understand his brother's train of thought, nor did he understand Kong Lingyu.

Kong Lingyu never cared about other people's opinions. If he wasn't afraid of Fang Huai's dislike, he would have truly respected his own nature and done things that would have shocked everyone. He had never been a good person. Rules were meaningless to him. The only thing that could hold him back was Fang Huai.

Fang Henian's face looked ugly, but Kong Lingyu was in a good mood. He raised his chin and said proudly:

"At least, I am the person he trusts the most now."

"The person who can stand by your side now is me, and it will only be me in the future."

Kong Lingyu turned around without hesitation, leaving Fang Henian standing there puzzled and saying, "Crazy, crazy, lunatic."

Not far away, Fang Huai stood in front of the car and watched the two of them. Seeing Fang Henan leave dejectedly, Fang Huai felt relieved.

Everything that needed to be said had been made clear, and he really didn't want to argue with Fang Henan anymore about those so-called "family matters".

"Let's go."

Kong Lingyu came over, put his arm around Fang Huai's waist, and said, "Let's go."

The action was domineering and calm. Fang Huai reluctantly withdrew the hand wrapped around his waist, "Yeah."

Kong Lingyu opened the car door for Fang Huai. After everyone got in, he turned around and looked in the direction Fang Henian had left. The corners of his mouth curled up, his dark eyes narrowed in pleasure, and he chewed slowly: "A third party?"

How could he give them the chance to snatch Fang Huai away?

Even if Li Xuan came back, it would be impossible.

"Kong Lingyu?"

Fang Huai knocked on the car window to pull Kong Lingyu out of his thoughts, "Aren't you leaving?"

They planned to go out for a walk today. Fang Huai had been running back and forth between the hospital and home during this period of time, and he felt like he was going moldy.

There happened to be a garden party nearby, and Kong Lingyu took him out with a flyer.

"Let's go." Kong Lingyu walked around to the front of the car and smiled at Fang Huai, "Let's set off now."

Kong Lingyu got into the car and was stunned when he saw the red ribbon hanging on Fang Huai's car.

He turned around suddenly. Fang Huai was startled by his reaction and asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"

"This?" Kong Lingyu reached out to untie the sachet, his fingers slowly tightening. "Can I open it?"

Fang Huai didn't understand Kong Lingyu's actions. He looked at the sachet lying in Kong Lingyu's palm and nodded: "Okay."

With a nervous mood, Kong Lingyu reached out and slowly opened the lock of the sachet. Inside lay two intertwined red knots. The unique knotting method proved that the red knot in the sachet was the one Kong Lingyu threw onto the tree that day.

The bright red string was wrapped around his fingertips, and Kong Lingyu carefully took out the red knot.

"This is the sachet from Caiyun Town, right?"

Fang Huai also looked at the sachet and nodded: "Yeah."

"It was given to me by Grandma Gucheng. The red knot fell on me at that time..." Before Fang Huai could finish his words, Kong Lingyu suddenly hugged him.

"Kong Lingyu!"

Fang Huai was startled by his actions and was about to push him away, but Kong Lingyu's hand immediately wrapped around him, and the complicated red rope was wrapped around his fingers. The two held hands together, and the messy red rope was wrapped between their fingers. The thin red line entangled their hands together during the struggle.

Kong Lingyu seemed to be out of control and wanted to rub Fang Huai into his bones. He hugged Fang Huai and called Fang Huai's nickname over and over again: "Maimai, my Maimai, my... my Maimai."

"What’s wrong with you?"

The red line between his fingers made Fang Huai feel uncomfortable, so he simply stopped struggling and let Kong Lingyu hold him. The man's chin rested on the side of his neck, and he shrugged his shoulders unnaturally.

"What happened?"

Fang Huai asked quietly, "Because of this sachet?"

Kong Lingyu nuzzled Fang Huai's neck and said in a hoarse voice, "Do you remember what grandma told you?"

Fang Huai was stunned when he heard this. He recalled what his grandma said in his mind and murmured, "Destined one?"

Suddenly, the hand around Fang Huai's waist tightened. Kong Lingyu lowered his head and their foreheads touched. They were so close that they could feel each other's breath. Kong Lingyu's eyes seemed to be filled with black mist. His hands hugged Fang Huai's waist, his eyes red: "Yes."

"He is the destined person." Kong Lingyu closed his eyes and pressed his forehead against Fang Huai, trying hard to suppress his surging emotions.

"Do you believe this?" Fang Huai stepped back slightly, but Kong Lingyu was still sticking to him. The touch of their skin against each other made his scalp numb. They were too close, too close... His hands nervously grasped the seat, "Do you believe what they said? Because of this..." Sachet?

Kong Lingyu opened his eyes and met Fang Huai's gaze: "I believe it."

"Maimai, I believe it."

"I believe in fate, I believe in it." Kong Lingyu hugged Fang Huai, and gently rubbed Fang Huai's face with his tall nose. He sighed: "I was the one who threw this red knot."

This sentence set off a storm in Fang Huai's heart. Fang Huai looked up suddenly, "This is... yours."

The red rope knot entangled between them untied, and the two red ropes were still wrapped around Fang Huai and Kong Lingyu's hands. The bright red color was particularly eye-catching. The two people clasped their fingers together, and the winding red line was like a hideous red blood vessel, entangled the two people together.

"Is this proof that we will be together forever?"

Kong Lingyu laughed softly. He looked at Fang Huai and raised their clasped hands, "Just like now."

Ding dang dang.

Someone knocked on the car window outside, and Fang Huai pushed Kong Lingyu away as if he had just woken up from a dream.

A red thread that had fallen off was still wrapped around his hand. Kong Lingyu looked outside the car unhappily, and at the same time he felt both amused and helpless at Fang Huai's guilty look.

"Don't be afraid."

Kong Lingyu raised his hand and carefully picked up the red thread that fell on his palm, then raised his hand to help Fang Huai straighten his collar.

Before withdrawing his hand, he pinched Fang Huai's red and hot earlobe, and then reluctantly withdrew under Fang Huai's death gaze.

"Hello?"

There was a young man standing outside the door. His Mandarin sounded a little broken, with a heavy pronunciation and an interesting accent.

"Brother Fang Huai!"

When the car window rolled down, Fang Huai finally saw the young man's face clearly.

The young man had healthy wheat-colored skin, his eyes were full of joy under his deep eye sockets, and his handsome features were uniquely exotic. After seeing Fang Huai, a bright smile appeared on his face, and the emerald earrings on his ears swayed with the owner's movements, "It's really you!"

"Yang Nong?"

Fang Huai recognized the boy in front of him immediately. The boy scratched his hair and winked at Fang Huai: "How about it, a surprise, right?"

"Why are you here?" Fang Huai asked in surprise.

Yang Nong said with a smile, "I came here to attend university. You have no idea how much my grandma treated me. She was so annoyed by me that she bought me a house here and kicked me out."

"I saw you just now, but I wasn't sure if it was you."

Yang Nong stood outside the car and spoke with a smile, never taking his eyes off Kong Lingyu who was standing next to Fang Huai.

"Brother Fang Huai, where are you going?" Yang Nong said worriedly, "I'm new here and I'm not familiar with this place."

"Maimai, are you familiar with each other?"

Kong Lingyu forced a smile, interrupted the two people's reminiscing with a fake smile, and took Fang Huai's hand to declare his sovereignty.

"Hello, I'm Yang Nong, a good friend of Brother Fang Huai."

Yang Nong bent down and greeted someone in the car half-heartedly, and then smiled provocatively at Kong Lingyu.

"Brother Fang Huai and I met in Caiyun Town. Are you also a good friend of Brother Fang Huai?" Yang Nong's innocent and pure words made a crack appear in the perfect smile on Kong Lingyu's face, but he still stretched out his hand to shake hands with Yang Nong, and then quickly withdrew.

"I'm Kong Lingyu."

Yang Nong didn't care who the man next to Fang Huai was. He was simply happy to see Fang Huai, completely oblivious to Kong Lingyu's indifference and his status. He exuded pure indifference. Unlike Kong Lingyu, who was world-weary and indifferent, Yang Nong seemed naive and indifferent.

"Where are you going?"

Yang Nong tilted his head and looked at Fang Huai pitifully.

Fang Huai couldn't resist Yang Nong's gaze and said, "We are planning to go to the garden party at the nearby park. Where are you going, Yang Nong?"

"What a coincidence! I'm planning to go too, but I just moved here not long ago and I'm not very familiar with the place. Would it be convenient for you to take me with you?" Yang Nong put his hands together and said, "Brother Fang Huai, can you take me with you?"

Fang Huai patted Kong Lingyu's hand, signaling him to relax. Kong Lingyu reluctantly met Fang Huai's gaze and said reluctantly, "I'm fine."

"Thank you, Brother Kong."

Yang Nong thanked him with a smile that didn't reach his eyes, and got into the car the next second, "Xiao Chong, get in quickly."

"Oh, by the way, Brother Fang Huai, do you mind if I bring my pet dog?"

"Dog?" Fang Huai turned around and bumped into a furry head. It turned out to be a rather cool meteorite Border Collie.

The Border Collie was as cunning as its owner. It knew who had the final say here, and rubbed Fang Huai's palm in a flattering manner, gently biting Fang Huai's sleeve and making a whimpering sound.

"It's okay." Fang Huai touched the Border Collie's head and said with a smile, "What a smart Border Collie."

"Woo woo woo." The Border Collie bit Fang Huai's sleeve and made a whining sound. Fang Huai asked in confusion, "What's wrong with it?"

"This playful ghost wants you to play with him, Brother Fang Huai."

Yang Nong helplessly touched the Border Collie's ears and gestured for it to lift its front paws. The pink pads looked chubby, which immediately touched Fang Huai's heart. Seeing that Fang Huai liked the puppy very much, Yang Nong smiled mischievously and invited him, "Brother Fang Huai, do you want to come to the back row and pet the puppy together?"

"My little bug just took a bath, it smells so good."
