Chapter 298 Something did indeed happen at the concert.
"Mr. Chino!"
A woman walked towards them, waving.
"Miss Yuno." Chizuru and the others greeted her.
“Mr. Chino, you’ve finally arrived. Mr. Mori is already in the seat in front.”
Yuno Aso smiled and led the way while chatting with them.
When they reached the front row seats, Kogoro Mouri was chatting happily with Yoko Okino.
Xiao Lan's lips twitched involuntarily.
"The concert is divided into an opening act and an closing act. The opening act is the performance time, and the closing act is the Q&A time," Yuno Aso explained to Chitake as she sat down to his right.
"Mr. Chino, would you be interested in playing a piece?" Yoko Okino, sitting four people away from Kogoro Mouri, asked Chitake, a hint of anticipation in her eyes.
A small bead of sweat slid down Qianzhu's forehead. He shook his head and smiled as he declined.
The performance was about to begin, and many of the lights in the stadium were turned off.
Ai Haibara, who had her gaze fixed on the stage, suddenly sensed an aura emanating from the organization. Her body stiffened slightly, and she then rose slightly and turned to look back.
"What's wrong?" Conan asked her quietly from the side.
The organization's presence flashed by so quickly that Ai Haibara almost thought it was her imagination.
She took a deep breath, trying to relax, shook her head, and replied softly, "It's nothing."
Conan gave her a slightly strange look, then continued watching the performance that had already begun on stage.
Several rows behind them, a black-haired youth calmly sat down, his clear, deep purple eyes gazing at the group of protagonists.
He took off the little braid by his ear and then tied up the upper part of his hair at the back of his head with the small rubber band.
His disheveled appearance carried a touch of untamed coolness.
This stadium is not open-air, so once most of the lights are turned off, the stadium becomes quite dark.
His gaze searched the audience area, and then he spotted his target on his left front – an elderly blond man with graying hair.
While everyone's attention was focused on the performance, a small black plush bear appeared out of thin air in the young man's black leather gloves.
He casually tossed it to the ground.
The plush bear is small in size and won't attract much attention when it crawls around in the shade.
The little bear walked up to the old man's chair, tilted its head up to look at his legs, then turned its back and unzipped the zipper on the back of the old man's back a little, took out a few strands of cotton, and threw the cotton into his shoes.
Then he took out a mini syringe and quickly inserted it into the old man's calf through the fabric.
The old man felt a prickling sensation, but he simply moved his leg and didn't seem to care much about it.
After doing all this, the bear zipped its zipper back up and ran back to the young man's side.
The young man patted its head approvingly and made it disappear, then leisurely rested his chin on his hand and waited for the entire performance to end.
As soon as the last performance ended, several screams erupted from the audience.
Kogoro Mouri and the others sitting in the front row quickly stood up and looked back at the slightly chaotic area of the crowd.
An elderly blond man clutched his heart and slumped back in a chair, his face turning blue and his eyes wide open, seemingly having died of a heart attack.
The people sitting around him all stood up from their chairs in horror and moved away from him.
