Chapter 551 I Don't Want to Live Anymore
"And from the most intuitive perspective, the bloodstain is dry, and there was no bloodstain left on the back of the deceased."
As he spoke, he got up to check the deceased's clothes, then folded them up and put them back, before opening the window to take another look.
"With such a tight schedule, the murderer couldn't possibly have done so much, right?" After closing the window, Kawasaki Maru turned to look at Conan, her tone seemingly questioning but actually icy.
"Uh? Yeah." Conan nodded blankly.
Kawasaki Maru walked out of the room where the crime scene was located, turned to look at the muscular man living next door, and then walked straight to him, staring at him coldly with her icy blue eyes. "Could you please let me see your room? Thank you."
"I..." The man had barely uttered a sound when he saw the other person glance at him. The coldness in the other person's eyes made him choke up, and he unconsciously stepped aside to let him in.
Conan, peeking out from the doorway of the deceased's room, watched in shock at the scene before him.
Kawasaki Maru walked around the man's room and finally took out the small bag that originally contained arsenic from his bag, as well as the hair tie and ring that the deceased had thrown into his black coat during his struggle.
There were even traces of blood on the ring.
After putting those items away, Kawasaki Maru turned and walked out of the room. She glanced at the man who was trying to escape, and without hesitation, kicked him to the ground and knocked him unconscious with a chop to the neck.
The bewildered guests and passersby stared in disbelief at the scene.
Ayumi and Mitsuhiko were also wide-eyed with shock, and after they came to their senses, they felt even more admiration for Kawasaki Maru.
After handing the found evidence to Conan, Kawasaki Maru took off her gloves, picked up Machi again, turned around without a word, went back into her room, and slammed the door shut.
Conan: "..."
Amidst the bewildered glances of the crowd, the police finally arrived.
Just as I was about to ask about the details of the case, I was told that the murderer had been found.
Police: Huh?
The murderer happened to wake up at that moment, and upon seeing a group of police officers, he immediately gave up his desire to escape and obediently confessed.
He originally intended to take advantage of the chaos when everyone discovered the body to dispose of the bag containing the arsenic, the hair tie, and the ring, but he didn't expect that the cold-blooded boy to be so decisive and immediately know that he was the murderer.
Although the police were very curious about the boy they were talking about, they couldn't very well barge into his room and wake him up, could they?
As the police escorted the murderer away, Conan, who was watching from behind, seemed to catch a glimpse of a platinum-colored object sticking out of the murderer's pocket, but upon closer inspection, he found nothing unusual.
Conan's gaze immediately sharpened.
He wasn't mistaken; there was indeed something in his pocket just now, but...
Another church?
As he was led into the police car, the muscular man lowered his head, recalling how an hour earlier, a member of an organization that said, "We can grant you any wish," had appeared in his room.
The other person took the card with his wish on it, glanced at it, and said, "I will help you kill her, but I will not get involved in dealing with the consequences of being discovered."
"Of course, if you lose the will to live because of this, you can silently say in your heart that I will help you."
The other party's cold and cruel voice rang out, and then he returned the card to him.
The man slowly closed his eyes, silently repeating to himself, "I don't want to live anymore."
