Chapter 603 It must have been him who did it.

Glancing at the group of children who had upset Bertrand, Seeker snorted and left with the boy in his arms.

"Don't be sad, Xiaobai-chan, let's leave here."

Bertrand wiped his eyes, gripped the knife in his hand, and nodded.

After walking for some time, they encountered Vermouth, who had arrived late.

By the light, Vermouth saw Bertrand's reddened eyes and the knife in his hand, the bloodstains of which had dried. Her heart tightened instantly, and she quickly stepped forward to check on it.

"What happened? Is my sweetheart hurt?"

She raised her hand and gently wiped the marks on Bertrand's cheek, then turned her head and questioned Seeker with a sharp look in her eyes.

Seeker shrugged. "Let's go outside first."

When the two encountered Vermouth, Conan was using the Detective Boys badge to contact Machi Kawasaki and Professor Agasa, briefly explaining the situation and asking them to use the spare glasses to locate them.

He then added, "Remember not to call the police yet."

Conan closed the badge, glanced at the three elementary school students who were still unconscious, and let out a heavy sigh.

As the three of them walked out of the cave and were about to leave, Bertrand suddenly stopped. His eyes, as still as a pool of water, stared at the cave entrance. After a moment of silence, he suddenly took out a few butterflies from his bag and handed them to Vermouth.

"Sister, can you help me blow up this hole?"

Vermouth paused, then reached out and took the butterflies. Looking at Bertrand, whose gaze was fixed and whose mood was low, she nodded, patted his head, and replied, "Okay."

Not quite adept at manipulating the butterflies, Vermouth watched them fly into the cave entrance, took one last look, then turned and left with Sext and the others.

They left and returned to where they had set up their tent. Conan and Ai Haibara, who were deep inside the cave, heard several loud rumbling noises, which even caused the ground to tremble.

Loose soil fell from above, landing on them.

Ayumi and Mitsuhiko were thus awakened from their coma.

Upon waking up, they felt a stinging pain in their small wounds.

However, they were unusually silent and said nothing, and Conan and Ai Haibara's excuses for this did not come to fruition.

The two exchanged a silent glance.

"I'll go check out what that noise was about."

Conan said something and then walked towards the passage they had come from.

He returned after some time, looking rather unwell.

"That sound was an explosion; the exit has been destroyed."

Ai Haibara frowned upon hearing this.

This must have been done by Bertrand!

Is he trying to trap them all inside?

Conan glanced at the dejected Ayumi and Mitsuhiko, sighed silently, and then contacted Machi Kawasaki again using the Detective Boys badge.

"What's wrong with Conan? Professor Agasa and I are on our way!" Machi Kawasaki asked immediately after connecting the badge.

Conan sighed. "I think you need to call for help because the exit has been destroyed and the opening is heavily blocked. We need tools to dig it open. Please hurry, Genta's wound needs to be treated as soon as possible."

"Okay, we understand!" Upon hearing this, Kawasaki Machi responded anxiously.

Dr. Agasa, who was standing nearby, heard this and immediately took out his phone to make a call.
