Chapter 871 This world has become so boring.

Chapter 871 This world has become so boring.

That night.

After discussing it with Chizuru himself, Ai Haibara began to appear at the Chino residence every day thereafter.

The next day.

The weather was neither sunny nor cloudy, but the temperature was just right.

This is not a natural phenomenon, but it makes perfect sense in the world of Detective Conan.

A silver-haired boy appeared at the entrance of the Chino residence early in the morning and happened to run into Ai Haibara.

Bertrand waved to her with a smile.

Ai Haibara got goosebumps the moment she saw the smile on his face.

After leaving the Chino residence, she quickly ran back to the Agasa residence.

Bertrand glanced at her retreating figure, shrugged indifferently, and then disappeared into the Chino residence.

He pounced on Qianzhu, who was sitting on the sofa, like a kitten, and then nuzzled against him.

Qianzhu gently patted his head, then pointed to the kitchen, "There's another breakfast, go and eat."

"Hoo~"

Bertrand released him and, waving his arms, flew into the kitchen like a little butterfly.

After he finished breakfast, he took Qianzhu with him and they went out together.

They spent the whole day going wherever it looked fun.

They arrived at the zoo around 5 p.m.

Looking down at the brown bear waving like a human, Bertrand clicked his tongue and said, "Wow, brown bears are really scary animals."

The next second, he took out his phone to take a picture, but unexpectedly someone bumped into him from behind, and he lost his grip on the phone, which fell to the ground.

Bertrand leaned his head over the fence, gazing longingly at the phone below, which had shrunk to a tiny dot, before looking at Qianzhu with a pitiful expression.

Qianzhu glanced at him, then turned to look at the young man who had deliberately bumped into Bertrand earlier, before looking away again a second later.

He patted Bertrand's head, his smile gentle. "We can buy a new phone."

Bertrand nodded and obediently replied, "Okay."

The young man who bumped into Bertrand walked to the railing, glanced at his phone below, and deliberately whistled.

Qianzhu looked down at the brown bear and said with a slight smile, "Sir, I need to trouble you to go down and help me cut up my phone."

The man paused for a moment, glanced at Qianzhu, and met his gaze with a slightly curved, smiling, yet strangely gentle, gaze that sent chills down one's spine.

He was about to curse instinctively when he suddenly felt a push on his back.

Before anyone could react, they only caught a glimpse of a dark shadow falling down. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that a person had actually fallen!

Shocked exclamations rang out one after another, but the next second they all turned into terrified screams, mixed with cries to call the administrator.

The brown bears that had been resting suddenly all got up and stared intently at the humans who had fallen into their territory.

Several brown bears surrounded the youth group, but did not approach him, perhaps observing whether he posed a threat.

But all they felt from this human was fear and terror.

The brown bears grinned, revealing a mouthful of teeth, some of which still had streaks of blood and bits of meat clinging to them.

Brown bears are notorious for their cruelty.

When the administrator who received the call arrived at the scene as quickly as possible, the young man was already half-dead and being devoured by several brown bears, his body a bloody mess.

Bertrand watched with wide eyes, his excitement masking a hint of disdain.

Qianzhu lowered his eyes indifferently, the phone that had fallen into the brown bear area somehow appearing in his hand.

He looked through the photos he had taken that day, deleted some of the meaningless ones, and put them back in Bertrand's bag.

Seeing that the person had been almost completely devoured, Qianzhu pulled Bertrand away from there.

Bertrand was still smiling.

"Oh dear, he deserved it!"

In his mind, there is no concept of morality or values. To him, taking revenge on others for a trivial matter is an extremely common and normal thing.

If you had to describe him in one word, "born bad" would be absolutely fitting.

Bertrand stretched and pulled Qianzhu to sit down on a nearby public bench.

Watching the clouds drift by, Bertrand swung his legs, swayed his head from side to side, and finally draped his arm over Qianzhu's shoulder.

"Chi-chan, I'm so bored. This world has become so boring too."

Qianzhu closed her eyes, tilted her head and rested it on Bertrand's head, and responded softly to his muttering.

"Um."

After a moment of silence, Bertrand muttered to himself.

Is it almost over?

"It'll be over soon, won't it?"

Qianzhu raised her head, pinched Bertrand's cheek with her hand, and smiled slightly, "It's almost over, we've had enough time."

"Hoo~"

Bertrand stood up, stretched, pulled Qianzhu up, and skipped back.

......

School has started, and the noisy elementary school students who are always making a ruckus are going back to school for classes.

Ayumi and the other two, or more precisely, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko, noticed that Kawasato Machi, whom they hadn't seen for a few days, seemed to be acting a little strange.

They subtly inquired about Conan and Ai Haibara.

"Do you really know what's wrong with him? Is he sick? Or is he just in a bad mood?"

As they asked, they would occasionally glance at Kawasaki Machi with worried eyes.

Conan opened his mouth, but hesitated to speak.

Ai Haibara patted Ayumi on the shoulder and said calmly, "Majito has indeed been sick recently, so he's not in good condition. You should take good care of him."

"Okay." The three idiots of Teitan, without any suspicion, nodded in agreement.

He started daydreaming during class, glancing at Kawasaki Machi every now and then.

Compared to them, Kawasaki Makoto was much more serious in class, reading the books carefully and taking notes diligently.

After school in the afternoon, the Teitan trio called out to Kawasei Machi, who had just changed his shoes and was about to leave.

Chuan Shengzhenzhi turned his head to look in confusion.

The three quickly changed their shoes, and then left with Kawasaki Machi, one on each side and one behind, looking quite mysterious.

“Zhenzhi, we’ll take you somewhere.”

Kawasaki Machi blinked. "Where are we going? Aren't we waiting for Conan and Ai?"

"You'll know when we get there. As for Conan and the others..." Mitsuhiko answered the first question, but he avoided the second question altogether after only saying half of it.

Kawasaki Machi secretly raised an eyebrow.

Huh? This is an opportunity that's come to us eagerly!

The three of them, along with Zhenzhi, arrived at the outside of a dilapidated rented house.

Chuan Shengzhenzhi's expression showed even greater confusion: "Why would I come here?"

"You'll see when you go in!"

As Mitsuhiko spoke, Genta stepped forward to open the door, their practiced manner indicating that they had clearly been here more than once.

The rented room was a bit dark, so Yuan Tai went to turn on the light.
