Chapter 43 Prologue

...As the heroic procession receded into the distance, the discussions in the village did not cease. Their legend was embellished and spread, each version leaving the listeners speechless and inspiring awe in them.

"You know what? I heard from passing caravans that the young girl didn't use ordinary magic to fight the curse. Instead, she communicated directly with the minds of those creatures, like... a god-like power!" A boy excitedly shared the "insider information" he had just heard with his friend.

"Impossible, that sounds too exaggerated." Although my friend questioned it verbally, his eyes shone with longing.

Not far away, a middle-aged couple stood side by side. The wife whispered to her husband, "Look at them, even when faced with such a difficult task, they can still smile through the storm. What are the little troubles we encounter in our daily lives compared to that?"

The husband nodded, took his wife's hand, and replied gently, "Yes, they taught us that no matter how difficult life is, as long as we have hope, there is no obstacle we cannot overcome."

Meanwhile, in a distant, bustling city, a young man dressed as a nobleman stood atop the towering city wall, gazing in the direction the heroes might pass. His attendant, puzzled, asked, "My lord, why are you so interested in those country heroes?"

The young man smiled meaningfully: "Because true power is never limited to one's origins. I see the dawn of a new era, a power powerful enough to overturn the old order. Remember, history is always written by those who dare to step forward."

As the news spread, stories of the heroes reached every corner of the world, stirring countless hearts. Some began to reflect on whether they too could bring about a change to the world like the heroes; others began preparations, wanting to witness or follow this new force.

A month later, when the heroes returned to the town after resolving one crisis after another, they were greeted not only by admiration, but by many more people who wanted to follow in their footsteps and create miracles together.

"Look, they're back! With the glory of victory!" The little boy's voice echoed through the street, even more excited than the first time.

"They did it, they changed the fate of so many places." The little girl's eyes no longer held just aspirations, but rather a strong determination.

At this moment, a young man who had previously been skeptical of heroic acts stepped forward and said, "I was shortsighted before. Now I want to join you, even if it's just to contribute a little bit to this world."

The young girl's smile remained as warm as ever: "Welcome. Every little bit from each person adds up to an immeasurable radiance."

The burly man patted the young man on the shoulder forcefully and agreed, "That's right, our ranks are always open to those with ambition."

Amidst this harmony and hope, the witch gazed upon everything from atop the tower, murmuring to herself: "The storm has subsided, but this is only the beginning. The age of new heroes is about to begin, and the true trials have only just commenced."

The dialogue echoed in the night, a farewell to the past and an anticipation for the future. Heroes, along with an ever-growing number of ordinary people, embarked on a new journey. Their stories will become timeless tales passed down through generations, inspiring everyone to bravely become their own hero on their own life's path.

"No matter what lies ahead, as long as we walk hand in hand, the light of hope will never be extinguished."

...As these words fell, the town's bonfire party quietly began. The villagers sat around the heroes, their faces beaming with unprecedented enthusiasm and anticipation. In the firelight, an old man stood up, his weathered voice filled with deep emotion: "In my old bones, you are not only heroes, but also stars that illuminate the darkness, guiding the lost forward."

A murmur rippled through the crowd, a mixture of admiration and empathy. Suddenly, a child tugged at the young woman's sleeve, his clear eyes brimming with curiosity: "Sister, can you teach me how to talk to animals? I want to be as good as you!"

The girl bent down, gently stroked the child's head, and smiled, "When your heart is full of love and respect, every life in nature will respond to you. From now on, we can learn together."

Just then, a traveler hurried over, his face covered in dust. He panted and said, "I heard on the road that an ancient evil force has appeared in the icy lands of the north and is quietly spreading. If there really is a powerful team like yours, perhaps they can stop this disaster."

These words caused an uproar among the crowd. A burly farmer suddenly stood up, his voice firm: "We may be ordinary people, but with your guidance, what do we have to fear from wind and rain? If it can protect our homes, we are willing to follow you!"

The burly man looked around, infected by everyone's enthusiasm, and said loudly, "Then let us embark on our journey together for the peace of our homeland!"

As the night deepened and the town's lights thinned, the heroes and their newly joined companions sat around the campfire, planning their next move. The young girl softly suggested, "Before we head north, we need to find the wise Aurora. Her wisdom might guide us to the key to defeating evil."

The young man, dressed as a nobleman, joined the discussion. He slowly unfolded the map he had brought and tapped it lightly with his finger: "As far as I know, Aurora lives in seclusion deep in the Eastern Forest, a place fraught with danger, but also hiding ancient power. I will use the power of my family to provide us with supplies and information support for our journey."

Everyone nodded in agreement, and an invisible bond of unity quietly formed within the team. In the night sky, a shooting star streaked across the heavens, seemingly foreshadowing a new adventure about to begin.

"We'll set off first thing tomorrow morning," the burly man said resolutely, his words filled with determination.

The conversation around the campfire gradually subsided, and everyone, lost in their own thoughts and dreams, slowly drifted off to sleep. But in the deepest part of the night, a deep and mysterious voice seemed to come from the heavens, its murmur barely audible to a few: "The wheel of fate has turned; the heroes' journey will determine the future of the world..."

The next day, as the first rays of sunlight pierced through the thin mist, the heroic team and their new companions were ready to depart. The townspeople came out to see them off, their eyes filled with both reluctance to part and boundless hope and blessings.

"Please come back safely!" a mother cried out through tears, clutching her handkerchief tightly in her hand.

The young girl turned around, her gaze gentle yet firm: "We will, because here, there is everything we want to protect."

The procession gradually moved into the distance until it disappeared below the horizon. The town's chatter resumed, this time tinged with a sense of determination and pride.

"What kind of miracles will they bring us?" a boy asked expectantly.

The old man beside him smiled, his gaze deep and thoughtful: "This world is so wonderful and diverse precisely because of people like them. Let's wait and see what the future holds."
