Chapter 150 Support

"Do you think they can solve the mystery of the Snow Giant?" Deep inside the tavern, a simply dressed traveler asked his companion in a low voice, his eyes sparkling with curiosity about the unknown.

"Who knows? But since Hope and his team dared to embark on this path, they must have their reasons. Courage and wisdom are often the keys to unlocking the mysteries of the world," the other person replied, a hint of admiration in their voice.

Just then, the rumble of a carriage came from afar, accompanied by hurried footsteps. A traveler covered in snow rushed into the tavern, still panting, and hurriedly said, "Gentlemen, breaking news! A caravan from the north says they witnessed a breathtaking battle. On the edge of the frozen land, a gigantic figure fought alongside a group of mysterious travelers against a monster never seen before!"

The tavern erupted in chaos, with everyone's gazes shifting between astonishment and excitement, as if they could glimpse the breathtaking battle scene from the simple description.

"The Snow Giant... actually fights alongside humans?" The leather-hatted traveler muttered incredulously, and the others exchanged astonished glances.

"A battle? That's much more exciting than the stories we have at the dinner table!" The blacksmith put down his hammer and stood up excitedly. "If this is true, then the existence of the Snow Giants may be completely beyond our imagination."

"Moreover, they mentioned 'fighting monsters,' could that third ray of light really be related to resisting the shadows?" A quiet librarian pushed up her glasses, her eyes gleaming with a thirst for knowledge.

Just as everyone was discussing the matter, an urgent letter was delivered to the tavern window by pigeon. The messenger rushed in, still breathless, and announced, "This is a letter from Hope and his companions. They request the assistance of the town's wise men and warriors. They have discovered an ancient secret that concerns the fate of the world..."

The contents of the letter spread rapidly through the tavern, each word striking like a hammer blow to people's hearts:

"The Frozen Realm conceals not only cold, but also ancient powers slumbering within. We have discovered a secret chamber behind the ice walls, containing ancient documents about light and shadow. But we have also awakened the Guardians, and an inevitable war is imminent. We desperately need the support of knowledge and power to protect the peace of this land. Please come quickly; time is of the essence."

After the silence came a more heated discussion. Each person's face was etched with complex emotions: fear of the unknown challenges, a desire to help the heroes, and a deep concern for the fate of the world.

“I was a warrior in my youth, and although I am old, the passion in my bones has never cooled.” The old man stood up, his eyes flashing with the glory of the past. “Let me also contribute to this adventure.”

"Our family has been craftsmen for generations, and we can't be absent from this crucial moment with our skills in forging weapons and armor," the blacksmith promised, patting his chest. The surrounding villagers also expressed their willingness to contribute, whether it was a bundle of dry food or a hand-sewn winter coat.

As night deepened and the tavern gradually quieted down, a letter was quietly pinned to the bulletin board. It recorded the villagers' support and expectations for Hope and his group, as well as the roles they were willing to play. At the end of the letter was a shared vow from everyone: "No matter how arduous the road ahead, our strength and faith will always be with you."

Moonlight spilled down, its silvery glow enveloping the slumbering town, yet unable to conceal the vibrant energy poised to burst forth. In the unknown north, Hope and his companions' adventure continued, supported by the hopes and dreams of the entire town and beyond. This journey across the frozen land was not merely a trek for the four of them, but a testament to the world's pursuit and yearning for a brighter future.

"Will they succeed?" A child held his father's hand, gazing up at the starry night sky.

The father smiled gently and whispered in his child's ear, "As long as there is light in your heart, hope will never be extinguished. And they are leading us all toward that light."

"Hey, have you heard? The secret Hope and his team found might really change the world!" On a street corner, two villagers whispered to each other, their tone a mixture of curiosity and awe.

"Change...change the world? Don't be ridiculous. Snow giants and monsters are just legends. How could a few young people possibly do that?" The vegetable vendor next to her scoffed, but a hint of curiosity was hidden in her eyes.

"Auntie, you might not believe it. Yesterday, the young man at the blacksmith's shop worked through the night to forge several specially made weapons, saying they were to support Hope and the others. Even the old village chief is interested; this is no small matter," one of the villagers said in a low, mysterious voice.

Just then, a group of hunters dressed in heavy furs entered the tavern. They were returning with a full load of game, their laughter tinged with pride: "We've caught quite a lot of game today, enough for Hope and the others to eat on their journey. Our village may be small, but no one should underestimate the power of us when we're united."

Inside the tavern, the librarian was flipping through an ancient book, his brow furrowed: "The book records that there was indeed a struggle between light and darkness in ancient times. If those documents are true, then Hope's discovery may open a new chapter in history."

“A new chapter? I think it’s the beginning of a disaster,” a homeless man in tattered clothes muttered, but was glared at fiercely by someone nearby and immediately shrank back.

"Disaster? Maybe you're right, but someone has to face it, doesn't he?" A strange voice rang out, and everyone turned to see a traveler in a trench coat standing in the doorway. His eyes were deep, as if he had seen through everything in the world.

"Who are you?" the blacksmith asked warily, his hand unconsciously reaching for the short knife at his waist.

The traveler smiled slightly: "You can call me the Mist Walker. I've also come for that secret. What Hope and the others need is not only power, but also guidance. And perhaps I can help."

"Guide? What do you know?" The quiet librarian put down her book, a glint of light flashing in her eyes.

“I have traveled far and wide and learned many forgotten stories. For example, the so-called guardians are not actually invincible. The key is…” The Mistwalker paused deliberately, looked around, and everyone held their breath, “…to find the long-lost Key of Light, which can unlock true power to fight against the shadows.”

"The Key of Light? What's that?" a child asked innocently from the crowd.

"An ancient legend says it can guide its holder to the deepest light and is the key to breaking through the darkness." The Mist Walker's answer was full of allure, as if one could already see that unknown glory.

“If that’s the case, we must act immediately!” The fur-hatted traveler suddenly stood up, his eyes burning with passion. “We can’t wait any longer. We must find that key and help Hope and the others.”

"Yes, we can't wait any longer!" The voices of the crowd converged into a torrent, and determination and hope took root in everyone's hearts.

Night fell again, and the tavern lights flickered, but this time the atmosphere was no longer filled with idle chatter and suspicion; instead, it transformed into a flurry of activity as people made plans and prepared to depart. On this moonlit night, everyone was contributing their own way to the adventure that was about to begin.

“We’ll find the key, won’t we?” the young librarian asked the Mistwalker beside him, clutching the ancient map tightly.

The Mist Walker smiled, his eyes sparkling like stars: "Of course, because nothing is impossible in this world. As long as we believe, we can see the light that pierces through the darkness."

A shooting star streaked across the night sky, leaving a dazzling trail, as if a perfect harbinger of this adventure. And on this path filled with unknowns and challenges, Hope and her companions were not alone, for the hope of the entire world walked alongside them.
