Chapter 79 Do you want me?

Jing Yan's back was hunched unnaturally, and his forehead was covered in sweat. He moved to the bedside, parted the curtains, and looked on inexplicably.

"Jiang'er, why are you running?"

Yue Jiang had already squatted down along the edge of the bed, tilting her head to look at Jing Yan. In her hand, she held a pot of wine and a cup filled with mellow and fragrant wine.

Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes were hazy, and a drop of wine clung to the corner of her mouth, making her look like a rose battered by rain, her whole being alluring and captivating.

Yue Jiang held the wine cup in her hands and shared it with Jing Yan as if it were a precious treasure: "Your Highness, please drink."

"What are you drinking now...?" Jing Yan slowly realized what was happening. He tried to steady his breathing, first taking the wine pot from Yue Jiang's other hand, shaking it and finding that most of it was gone. He asked in surprise, "Jiang'er, are you drunk?"

"I wasn't drunk," Yue Jiang immediately denied, but her voice was weak and revealed a rare naivety: "Your Highness was drunk, and when you were drunk you bullied people. Just now you didn't even know what you liked about me."

"I can't sleep, I want to drink," she said, raising the wine cup and tilting her head back to gulp it down.

As if that wasn't enough after finishing the wine, he snatched the wine pot back from Jing Yan's hand and poured another cup. Just as he was about to drink it, Jing Yan grabbed it from him and tilted his head back to drink it all in one gulp.

When Yue Jiang saw that he had taken her wine, she picked up the wine pot and poured it into her mouth. The next moment, Jing Yan snatched the entire wine pot back into his hand and pulled Yue Jiang back onto the bed.

Jing Yan half-encircled Yue Jiang in his arms, seeing that her clothes were barely hanging on, and her fair and pink body made his blood boil.

A faint fragrance lingered in the air, constantly tempting Jing Yan's will. If Yue Jiang hadn't run away, he would have already taken her tonight.

Jing Yan's eyes were dark, concealing a surging desire, but his tone was extremely restrained.

"Jiang'er, so you want to 'bully' me now, is that it?"

Jingyan suddenly remembered what Yuejiang had said during the day, asking if he would comfort her if she got drunk.

He never expected this to happen to him that night; whether he was truly drunk or not remained to be seen.

But at this moment, he really wanted Yue Jiang.

Jing Yanwen gently coaxed, "Would it be alright if I let you come?"

Jing Yan tried to support Yue Jiang's waist and hold her against him, but Yue Jiang grabbed his hand, shook her head sullenly, and looked unwilling.

Yue Jiang looked up at Jing Yan above her, and tears suddenly streamed down her face.

"No, Your Highness said you didn't bully me. I had to force you to say 'I like you' myself. And now you're making me exert myself again. Is that all I care about? Can't you hear Your Highness say something nice to me from the bottom of your heart?"

She trembled, her voice weak and pitiful: "Your Highness seems to be treating me worse and worse. It's not as good as before I married you, when Your Highness would talk to me a lot."

"Now that I am His Highness's wife, His Highness seems so distant."

Jing Yan's eyes flickered slightly as he couldn't help but recall the beginning of his acquaintance with Yue Jiang. Was he really that good back then? He was just trying to trick Yue Jiang into being his Crown Princess.

How can one not put in a lot of effort?

And what about ginger?

If Yue Lang isn't Yue Jiang's biological brother, then where did Yue Jiang come from? Could the imposter be Yue Lang, the young prince with a status in the Yue Kingdom?

Is Yue Jiang deliberately trying to seduce him right now?

Which of the two is the hunter who teases the beast?

Jing Yan raised the wine jug in his hand, tilted his head back and took a swig, full of confusion.

"Your Highness, I was already worried, why did you take my wine?" Yue Jiang tried to get up and snatch the wine pot from Jing Yan's hand, but Jing Yan pulled back and dodged.

Yue Jiang was prepared. She pretended to be drunk and slumped into Jing Yan's arms, then, without saying a word, she seized Jing Yan's lips and teeth.

With fierce determination, he tried to pry open Yue Jiang's mouth so she wouldn't take the wine pot. Jing Yan saw Yue Jiang rushing forward recklessly, and the pain from her bite was still there.

He grabbed Yue Jiang's waist, trying to stop her, but this time Yue Jiang wasn't just "retaliating" without restraint. Her attitude was harsh, but it only made his senses even more intense.

Just when Jing Yan thought Yue Jiang's "resentment" had passed and he could finally enjoy the night, Yue Jiang's sobbing voice reached his ears, sounding incredibly pitiful.

"Your Highness, I can't bear to bite you anymore."

Not only did her voice speak, but Yue Jiang's hand also caressed Jing Yan's lips. Jing Yan felt the soft, boneless warmth caressing him, and his heart suddenly ached.

Jing Yan felt as if Yue Jiang was besieging him with her love, determined to trap him in a desolate city where Yue Jiang was all alone.

But Yue Jiang only wanted to hear a few kind words; it wasn't a difficult request.

On the fourth night of their marriage, Jingyan should put aside any concerns he might have.

He wiped away another tear that slipped out of Yue Jiang's eye, and stared at Yue Jiang in his arms, speaking softly and gently: "What do you want to hear me say? I'll tell you."

Yue Jiang frowned, turned her face slightly away, and said with displeasure, "Your Highness still asks? Do you want me to continue teaching you? Does Your Highness not know what you most want to do to me right now?"

"Don't you know what I'm planning to do? Why do you have to say it out loud?" Jing Yan's gaze involuntarily drifted towards Yue Jiang's long dress.

Her skin was so soft that even a slight touch would leave a lasting impression all night, and several red fingerprints could be seen hidden among them.

He had just left it there. At this moment, Yue Jiang nestled in his arms, and Jing Yan vaguely felt a damp coolness.

He gave a slight smile and lowered his eyes to ask, "Jiang'er, do you really not know? The body is always the most honest."

Yue Jiang glanced sideways at the burning sensation beneath her, utterly helpless, her face etched with lingering sorrow: "It's still better than Your Highness, I'm about to be burned to death by Your Highness."

Jing Yan: "..."

"Since it's so hard to say, I'm going to wash up now. I have to get up early tomorrow to pay my respects to the Empress Dowager. I'll learn from the Empress Dowager and try to get along with the Emperor like she does. That should please Your Highness."

Yue Jiang pretended to get up, and Jing Yan really reached his limit. He pressed Yue Jiang down and whispered in her ear, his voice hoarse: "Jiang'er is good at sweet talk. Even if you were to learn it, you wouldn't be able to."

Yue Jiang retorted, unconvinced, "Your Highness doesn't know what I want to hear..."

"I said!"

Before Yue Jiang could finish speaking, Jing Yan suddenly whispered in her ear, tightening his grip on her hand inch by inch. Yue Jiang could feel Jing Yan's voice trembling.

Yue Jiang turned to look at Jing Yan. Her breath hitched, and she saw a slight tremor in Jing Yan's eyes as he spoke to her, word by word: "Would you like me?"

It's about wanting him, not forcefully demanding that Yue Jiang give him to you.

Lian Yuejiang thought that Jing Yan would eventually give in and take his pleasure with her first; she had already guessed this possibility.

Therefore, he never dared to force Jing Yan directly, but rather used a combination of firmness and gentleness.

She was afraid of ruining the harmony between the two of them these days, but Yue Jiang did not expect Jing Yan to be so tolerant of her.

Jing Yan, panting heavily, teased, "What, you don't dare to do it anymore? If you say again that I displeased you last night, I won't admit it. Come on up."

Lost in thought, Yue Jiang was suddenly lifted up by Jing Yan's support. Before she could react, she groaned in surprise, feeling embarrassed and annoyed by the sudden, indescribable sensation.

"Your Highness!"
