Chapter 260 Being My Girlfriend for a While
Jiang Nian heard the familiar voice and looked up, meeting Lu Yunzhou's gaze.
"Cough cough cough." Jiang Nian choked and coughed while covering her mouth.
Her face turned red, very red.
Remembering her dream from last night, Jiang Nian wished she could crawl under the table.
Lin Xi went over and patted Jiang Nian's back. "Nian Nian, are you alright?"
Jiang Nian couldn't say a word and shook her head slightly.

If Lu Yunzhou weren't so handsome, she would have left long ago, given her previous temper.
Wang Yan could only pick up food from one plate before asking, "Did Mr. Lu come by car?"
Lu Yunzhou nodded.
"What kind of car do you drive?" Wang Yan asked again.
Lu Yunzhou didn't want to tell the other person what kind of car he drove, so after thinking for a moment, he said a relatively inexpensive one, "A BMW."
Wang Yan secretly pursed her lips. He really was just a pretty face with no redeeming qualities other than being handsome.
Lin Xi and Jiang Nian heard the conversation between the two clearly.
Lin Xi had already completely ruled out Wang Yan in her mind. Jiang Nian couldn't help but steal a glance at Lu Yunzhou, thinking to herself that her boss was actually single and needed to go on blind dates.
Lu Yunzhou suddenly looked up at Jiang Nian, catching her red-handed, which startled Jiang Nian so much that she quickly lowered her head.
"Niannian, eat more bullfrog," Lin Xi put a piece on Jiang Nian's plate. "This is really delicious."
Lu Yunzhou also picked up a piece of bullfrog and put it in his own bowl. He took a bite, nodded, and agreed that it was indeed delicious.
Lin Xi picked up another piece of boiled beef for Jiang Nian, saying, "Nian Nian, have another piece of beef. You need to supplement your protein intake."
Lu Yunzhou then picked up a piece of beef and put it in his mouth.
Lin Xi noticed Lu Yunzhou's actions and kept serving Jiang Nian food with a smile.
Whatever Lin Xi put on her plate, Lu Yunzhou ate it, and Jiang Nian did the same; her mouth was never idle.
Wang Yan felt ignored and coughed, "Don't you have anything you want to ask me?"

Wang Yan's expression changed. "How dare you talk like that? Doesn't my information say I'm twenty-five years old?"
“What’s written in the documents doesn’t represent your real age,” Lu Yunzhou said. “It’s clear you’re not being honest.”
Lu Yunzhou had no idea where her mother had found this woman; wasn't this a bit beneath his dignity?
Any female employee he randomly picked from his company was better than the woman in front of him; he wasn't that desperate.
Wang Yan bit her lower lip, and after hesitating for a long time, she admitted, "Okay, I'm twenty-eight this year."
Not only that, Lu Yunzhou's lips twitched, but he didn't press the matter further, as he didn't intend to continue the relationship.
“I don’t think you meet my criteria for a partner,” Lu Yunzhou said, not wanting to face Wang Yan any longer. “My ideal type is young, beautiful, tall, and with long legs, and you don’t fit any of those criteria.”
Wang Yan stood up angrily, "Look at yourself! You want to find someone young and beautiful? Can you even afford to support her? What advantages do you have besides being good-looking? Humph!"
After saying this, Wang Yan turned and left the restaurant.
Lu Yunzhou breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Lin Xi beside him, "Have you seen enough? Was it interesting?"
Lin Xi nodded. "It's quite interesting. It's the first time I've seen someone go on a blind date up close like this."
"Where did Mom find this person?" Lu Yunzhou asked, tapping the table. "Am I that bad in her eyes?"
