"Old Mei, take your daughter inside."
"You're here. What's up? I was reading," said Mei's father as he came out.
"I'm busy right now, can't you keep an eye on your daughter?" Mrs. Mei glared at Mr. Mei.

“You can read books and look after your daughter without any conflict. Is Mom asleep inside?” Mei’s mother suddenly realized that she hadn’t seen Grandma Mei for a while.
