Chapter 8 Taking a Bath

More than a month has passed in the blink of an eye, and the weather here is getting hotter and hotter. Coconut Silk took her first bath here.

For a while, Grandma Mei used a damp towel to wipe the coconut flakes' body. This time, during the usual wiping time, Grandma Mei suddenly brought out a large basin that could hold the coconut flakes.

Suddenly they changed to a big basin, and there was still so much water in it. Coconut shreds were very scared.

The Buyao aliens don't take baths because they are naturally afraid of water. The first time they washed their butts, Coconut was terrified. This time, with so much water in the basin, Coconut didn't even dare to get close.

As soon as Coconut saw Grandma Mei come over to hug her, it immediately scurried away.

Grandma Mei struggled with the coconut flakes for over an hour, but couldn't catch the little monkey. When Grandma Mei saw that the water was getting cold, she had no choice but to give up.

"This child, is he born in the Year of the Monkey? He's growing up so fast!" Grandma Mei carried the basin back to the kitchen, intending to use it when someone took a bath that evening.

When Mei's parents came home in the evening, Mei's grandmother told them about what happened that afternoon.

"This child refuses to take a bath no matter what, and she crawls so fast that I can't catch her at all. I spent an hour playing with her on the kang (a heated brick bed), and the water got cold."

"I don't know why, but lately this child has become a bit afraid of water. When you wash her bottom, she clings to you so tightly, as if you could drown her," said Mama Mei, glancing at Yesi who was secretly observing their conversation.

Coconut flakes: I hope they won't put me in the water again?

Coconut didn't see the basin of water again that night, so she was relieved; it seemed the danger had passed.

The next day was Sunday, and the morning was peaceful. After having a full lunch, Ye Si fell asleep peacefully.

As soon as they saw that Yesi was fast asleep, Grandma Mei and Mom Mei started to get busy, planning to give Yesi a bath as soon as she woke up.

It was hot, and Ye Si woke up from her nap because of the heat, so Mei's mom went over and stripped Ye Si naked.

I originally thought that coconut flakes were just a different "skin".

But when she saw Grandma Mei bring out that big basin again, Ye Si got anxious and turned around to climb into the kang (a heated brick bed).

As expected, Mei's mother simply scooped her up by the armpit.

"Aaaaaaahh ...

"Don't be afraid, Sisi. Bathing is very comfortable." Mei's mother remained unmoved, holding the coconut flakes tightly in her arms.

Once the coconut flakes were in the basin, she refused to sit down no matter what. Mei's mother didn't dare to force her, because if her daughter started splashing around in the water, she wouldn't be able to take a bath.

First, Mei's mother used a handkerchief to dab water on the coconut flakes, then she soaped them.

Coconut looked at the white foam on her body in shock, completely unaware of how it had appeared.

Coconut flakes: I didn't see this when I was washing my butt/butt?

Coconut flakes touched the white foam on their bodies with their little hands; it was smooth and smelled nice.

Coconut thought of white water, which is also white, so could it be eaten? Coconut decided to put her hand in her mouth to taste it.

"Hey! You can't eat this!" Mei's mother quickly grabbed Ye Si's hand and told her seriously that she couldn't eat this.

I had a vague understanding of coconut flakes, but I roughly knew that they weren't edible.

What happened next left Yesi completely dumbfounded: what did Mei's mom rub out?

Coconut Silk discovered that she could rub this stuff all over her body.

Coconut Flakes pinched the thing between his fingers and examined it closely, but still didn't know what it was or why it appeared when he rubbed it.

After taking a shower, I felt very comfortable and no longer felt so hot.

Coconut flakes: Does this creature cool itself down by drinking water?

For once, Mei's mom didn't put clothes on Yesi. It was too hot, and Mei's mom planned to just put a bib on Yesi in the summer.

Smooth coconut shells crawled on the kang (heated brick bed), as if rediscovering the feeling of comfort, relaxation, and freedom from the past at Buyaoxing.

In the evening, Mei Liang, who had been out all day, was also required to take a shower.

When Ye Si saw Grandma Mei bring in an even bigger basin, she was so frightened that she scrambled down onto the kang (a heated brick bed).

"Pfft! Look how scared you are, this is for your brother to take a bath." Mei's mother burst out laughing when she saw her daughter's reaction.

Coconut Silk sat on the kang (heated brick bed) keeping a close eye on what was happening, ready to run away if anything went wrong.

"Mom, why don't you take my sister inside?" Mei Liang said, feeling a little embarrassed to take off his clothes when he saw his sister.

"Your sister is hiding so far away because she's afraid of taking a bath. She runs away as soon as I go over," said Mei's mother, expressing her helplessness.

"Impossible." Mei Liang didn't believe it. He climbed onto the kang (a heated brick bed) to get some coconut flakes.

As soon as Ye Si saw Mei Liang coming up, she quickly scrambled away, refusing to let Mei Liang get close no matter what.

Mei Liang tried several times, but had to give up the idea of taking his sister away.

Mei Liang, burying his head in the sand, turned around, took off his clothes, and sat down directly in the basin.

When Coconut Seed saw the baby go into the basin, it suddenly dawned on him that it was his turn to go into the water this time.

Knowing that there was nothing more for her to do, Ye Si boldly climbed to the edge of the kang (a heated brick bed) and pretended to be bored.

After observing for a while, Ye Si noticed something strange. The cub's structure was somewhat different from hers; it resembled the cub next door more.

Coconut Flakes: Isn't that a deformity? Is it genetic? Then this half-grown cub and the cub next door are from the same family?

Coconut flakes think there are two possibilities:

1. She is not the biological daughter of this family; she belongs to the neighbor's family.

2. This half-grown cub is not the biological child of this family; it belongs to the neighbor next door.

Mei Liang felt embarrassed by his sister's intense gaze and instinctively covered his genitals with his hand.

"Mom, look at my little sister, why don't we take her away?" Mei Liang tried to hold back, but couldn't stand Ye Si's burning gaze.

When Mei's mother saw that her daughter had already climbed to the edge of the kang (a heated brick bed), she was afraid that she would fall, so she quickly called for Mei's father.
