"How could that be? You must be seeing things! Go home and rest today, get a good night's sleep, and you won't think that way tomorrow." The colleague completely disbelieved the referee's words.
When Mays threw again, the referee on the field had been changed to a foreigner. Mays easily broke the world record and won the gold medal in discus.
Mays' competitions are all over. Mays originally wanted to go out and buy some food and other things, but the coaches absolutely refused to let Mays go out alone. They were afraid that the H country would take action against Mays for the sake of the Olympics two years later.
Seeing how nervous the coaches were, Mays had no choice but to stay under their watchful eyes, spending her days either wandering around the hotel or going to the stadium to cheer on her teammates.
It was the Taekwondo final. Chinese athlete Qu Xin was leading the H athlete by two points. The competition was about to start, and China was about to win another gold medal.
However, at the crucial final moment, the H country player suddenly executed a spinning back kick!
Fortunately, he didn't hit Qu Xin's head, and the referee immediately raised his hand to announce that Qu Xin had become the champion of the competition!
The teammates who came to cheer them on ignored the hostile looks from the H-country audience, stood up, cheered loudly, hugged, and expressed their joy.
The coach of country H stood up and appealed, arguing that his player had kicked the Chinese player in the head and should be awarded 3 points, and that the championship should belong to country H.
The referees came together and, after discussion, stated that they did not see the H country athlete's foot touch the Chinese athlete's head, and H's appeal was invalid.
The coach from country H was so angry that he threw his water bottle, saying that the gold medal was rightfully theirs.
The H country player roared and charged at the referee, kicking him to the ground.
Although the audience in the stands couldn't see very clearly, they believed that the coach from country H was definitely right.
It must be that the referees didn't want China to win, so they ruled that China won!
The angry spectators left their seats and stormed onto the field, surrounding the referees.
Coach Chen from China quickly stood up and shouted, trying to get Qu Xin, who was still on stage, to get away from the crowd to avoid being accidentally injured.
Qu Xin tried to dodge, but he was entangled by the coach and players from country H. Qu Xin blocked several of the side kicks from the players from country H.
He was eventually kicked in the back of the knee by the coach from country H, and fell to his knees.
Coach Chen rushed in to try and rescue Qu Xin, and Mei Si and her teammates also entered the arena to try and rescue Qu Xin.
Mei Si's eyes were particularly bright at this moment. She rushed into the crowd with quick movements, pushed to the left, and several people fell down. She then pushed to the right, and several more fell down.
Coach Chen saw Mei Si in the crowd and his face lit up with joy. He knew that Qu Xin could be saved!
"Don't hurt anyone! Once you find Qu Xin, come out right now!" Coach Chen shouted at Mei Si, his neck bulging.
Mei Si knew that since Qu Xin was not wearing a mask, she couldn't be too ruthless. Mei Si simply pushed through the crowd and quickly approached Qu Xin, who was being beaten by the coach and players from country H.
Mei Si arrived just in time. She had just pushed aside the people in front of her when she saw the H country athlete, with the help of his coach, about to kick Qu Xin's dangling arm.
If that kick had landed properly, Qu Xin's arm would definitely be broken.
Mei Si raised her leg and kicked, hitting the H country athlete right in the middle of the shin. With a "crack", the H country athlete's shin bent into a strange arc.
"Ah!!!" The H country player screamed and fell to the ground.
Mei Si looked up at the H country coach who was still holding Qu Xin's arm.
The coach from country H turned pale with fright, quickly released Qu Xin's arm, and turned to run away.
But there were people all around, and the coach from country H was sweating profusely with anxiety, and he hadn't taken more than a few steps.
Mei Si lifted Qu Xin up, pushed aside the people around them, and kicked the coach from country H.
"Snap!"
Qu Xin shuddered at the sound. Luckily, Sister Mei Si arrived just in time, or the sound would have been emanating right in his bones.
The coach from country H screamed and fell to the ground. Mei Si continued to pry open the crowd in front of her, intending to take Qu Xin out as soon as possible.
Falling in the crowd is never a good thing. Qu Xin looked back at the H country athlete who was screaming in pain on the ground and suddenly felt sorry for him.
Qu Xin: Why did you have to provoke us Chinese people? Look what happened, now you're suffering!
"Ah~ Ah!!!!" The coach from country H looked at the fingers that were being stepped on by Mei Si and suddenly shouted out a high-pitched dolphin-like sound.
Mei Si was startled by the sound. She quickly lifted her foot, intending to bow her head and apologize, but when she saw that the person who had been stepped on was the coach from country H, Mei Si put her foot back down and even deliberately rubbed it.
The coach from country H stared in disbelief at the foot he had placed back in his hand, then his head lolled to the side and he fainted.
After taking Qu Xin away from the battlefield, Mei Si planned to rush back in to confront the referee.
"Hey, what are you going in for? What if you get injured? You can't go!" Coach Chen held onto Mei Si tightly, preventing her from leaving.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Mei Si pulled Coach Chen's hand away and rushed in again to save people.
