Chapter 117

With external forces suffering repeated setbacks, Yoon Geun-seok knew it was time for them to make their move.

In the following days of competition, athletes from various countries frequently encountered problems such as failing urine tests, crossing the line, and committing fouls.

The referee's actions by country H caused widespread resentment among athletes from various countries, who at one point considered refusing to continue the competition.

When Mays participated in the discus competition, she encountered a similar situation. After seeing that Mays' throw was significantly farther than others, the referee from country H raised the white flag, indicating that the result did not count.

Mei looked down at her feet. She was still a hand's width away from the toe board, and even further away from the outer circle. Why didn't this result count?

Mays' coach and teammates also objected to the referee's decision, but the referee completely ignored them.

“Where did I go wrong with my throw this time?” Mays walked to the cage and asked, frowning.

"You stepped on the toe plate," the referee said expressionlessly.

"How is that possible? I didn't even touch the inside of the toe plate."

"I saw you step on it."

Mays gave the referee a cold look, then turned and went back to the rest area.

"These referees from country H are really going too far! Your result clearly broke the world record this time!" a teammate said indignantly.

"The coach has already gone to talk to them, hoping to replace this referee," another teammate said, glaring at the H country referee on the field.

A short while later, Coach Qu returned with a grim expression. When the team members saw the coach's pale face, they knew that Mei Si's good results were now invalid.

Meiss began to pay attention to the later competitions. She noticed that whenever a competitor from another country threw a distance close to that of a competitor from country H, the referee would raise a white flag.

Mays: We need to think of a way to get rid of him.

When it was Mays' turn to play again, she looked at the referee from Team H and suddenly smiled.

The referee frowned but didn't take it seriously.

Mays walked into the throwing circle with the discus, then turned to look at the referee again to confirm his position.

Mays swung her arm and quickly threw the discus. Mays' teammates and coach stood up nervously and looked at the landing area.

But after searching for a long time, I couldn't find the discus.

The coach and teammates simultaneously thought: Could it be that Mays made a mistake? But how could that be? Mays has never made a mistake before!

Many hands make light work, and finally someone in the audience found the missing discus.

"Look there! She actually threw the discus over there, hahaha..." A man from country H suddenly pointed to the grass in front of the stands and laughed.

Hearing the laughter, Coach Qu quickly followed everyone's gaze. However, his first attention was not on the discus, but on the H country referee sitting on the ground.

The referee, his face pale, sat on the ground, staring at Mays in terror, clearly terrified.

Coach Qu turned to look at the discus, somewhat puzzled as to how it had flown there. Could it be that Mei Si could make the discus turn?

Coach Qu turned his head to examine the cage. Sure enough, there was a hole in the cage. It seemed that the cage didn't have a hole before Mays came on.

Mei Si smiled and walked around the cage, intending to go over and apologize.

When the referee saw Mays approaching, he was so frightened that he shuffled back several steps, his bottom rubbing against the ground.

"I'm sorry, I made a mistake." Seeing that the referee was afraid of her, Mei Si stopped and stood two steps away from the referee, saying.

"...No...it's nothing." The referee breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that Mays was no longer approaching. He stood up shakily and said.

When Mays saw that the referee was actually trying to pick up the flag, she narrowed her eyes.

"Referee, you've wet your pants! Are you sure you want to stay here?" Mays suddenly shouted in C language.

"Hahahahaha..." The audience members in the stands heard what Mays said and all looked at the referee's pants, bursting into laughter.

Mays' voice was so loud that the referee's ears rang. He picked at his ears and it took him a while to realize what Mays had said.

The referee quickly looked down at his pants and realized why they felt warm and slightly sticky; he had indeed wet his pants.

The referee suddenly froze. He looked up at the people around him and found that they were all looking at him and laughing.

The referee's face immediately turned from white to green. He covered his face with his hands, turned around, and ran off the field.

Mei Si returned to the rest area, satisfied.

"Sisi, you're doing this..." Coach Qu looked at Mei Si, hesitant to speak. He wanted to talk to Mei Si and tell her that this was wrong.

Coach Kequ stopped short of speaking. None of the coaches could do anything about that referee. Now that Meisi had made the referee leave the field on his own, how could he possibly lecture Meisi?

"Don't do that again next time, it'll waste your chance to compete," Coach Qu said dryly.

“Okay.” Mei Si nodded.

If it were just a discus flying past him, the referee wouldn't have been so cowardly as to wet his pants. The key point is that the discus that Mays threw grazed his scalp.

When the referee went to the locker room to change his pants, he still felt a burning sensation on his scalp.

The referee walked to the mirror, lowered his head slightly, parted his hair, and carefully examined his scalp. Although there were no wounds, he felt that the hair on the top of his head seemed less thick than before.

A moment later, a colleague came in, trying not to laugh, and asked him if he could still play.

The referee shook his head like a rattle-drum; he would rather die than referee there again. That Mays was absolutely terrifying!

"Are you too timid? It's just that the cage happened to have a hole, and she just happened to throw the discus through that hole. What's there to be afraid of?" The colleague expressed his disdain for the timid referee.

"I know best whether the cage has a hole or not! That Mei Si, she definitely knows Chinese Kung Fu! She just threw it like that, and the discus went right through the cage!" The referee gestured Mei Si's discus throwing posture to show that the cage was broken by the discus.
