"..." Mei Si glanced at Jin Min'er expressionlessly, then went straight up on stage to lift the ball, showing no intention of letting Jin Min'er finish speaking.
"Aaaaaah! Ouch! Damn it!" Kim Min-ah kicked the table next to her in anger.
Unfortunately, she forgot that her shoes today couldn't kick hard objects, and the result of her toes making intimate contact with the table leg was, of course, the table leg winning.
"Min'er, how are you? Where are you hurt?" Jin Min'er's coach rushed over to help her and asked.
"Get out of here! I'm fine!" Kim Min-ah pushed the coach away in annoyance and limped back to the rest area.
Since she really stretched her muscles last night, Mays suddenly rediscovered some of the exhilaration she felt when fighting on the battlefield.
Mei Si has lived here for 18 years. Although she has no worries about food and clothing, she always felt that something was missing. Until last night, Mei Si finally realized what she was missing.
She is a Buyao person, and they are born to fight. How can she do nothing but eat every day?
Meis looked down at her hands. They were hands just like any other human's. She was human now, and no one could call her a different species.
Mays: I am a human being, and I can do what I want, just like everyone else!
Mei Si's eyes suddenly became brighter than ever before. The first person to notice the difference in Mei Si was Jin Min'er, who had been paying attention to her.
Kim Min-ah frowned. She suddenly felt uncertain and decided to end the match as soon as possible.
Kim Min-ah found a coach and immediately demanded that the weight be doubled.
"Isn't that your limit? What if it were another athlete..." The coach advised Kim Min-ah against doing that.
"My foot hurts, and I want to finish the match as soon as possible," Kim Min-ah said, offering a ready-made excuse.
"Alright!" The coach nodded helplessly.
Kim Min-ah's move was a direct victory over all her competitors. Looking at their dejected faces, she felt incredibly relieved.
Kim Min-ah watched Mei Si from below the stage with a smug look on her face, waiting for Mei Si to fail.
Mei Si suddenly smiled at Jin Min'er and directly asked for the intensity to be increased.
Kim Min-ah, sitting in the audience, grabbed the coach's hair in anger and shook him violently.
"Ah! It hurts! Min'er, let go!" The coach tried to pry Jin Min'er's hand off, but didn't dare to use too much force. After all, Jin Min'er still had a competition to play, and what if he broke it?
Seeing that Mei Si had successfully lifted the weight, Kim Min-ah pushed the coach away and asked him to lift it harder.
“Min’er, let’s stop. It’s too heavy for you to lift. What if you get injured? The Olympics are in two years…” The coach looked troubled. He felt that Kim Min’er shouldn’t act impulsively.
"Stop talking nonsense, are you going or not? If not, I'll go by myself!" Kim Min-ah interrupted the coach impatiently.
Kim Min-ah stepped onto the weightlifting platform and, fueled by anger, lifted a weight she had never lifted before.
Ignoring her lower back discomfort, Kim Min-ah looked at Mei Si defiantly, as if to say, "If you're so capable, then let me try."
Mays nodded from below the stage and actually asked for the intensity to be increased again.
Kim Min-ah pursed her lips, completely disbelieving that Mays could do it. The reason Kim Min-ah was able to lift that weight was because she had lied about her weight.
With her weight of 57 kg, she should have competed in the 59 kg category, but in that category, there were several people on the team who could beat her, and she was at a complete disadvantage.
Fortunately, this competition was held in country H, and local staff were available to help with the weigh-in, making it very easy to cheat.
Kim Min-ah was waiting to see Mei Si make a fool of herself; she really wanted to see Mei Si fail.
Kim Min-ah: It would be best if she got injured or broke something, so she wouldn't be able to participate in the later competitions!
Unfortunately, reality was far from what Kim Min-ah had imagined. Mei Si easily lifted a barbell that was 2.5 kilograms heavier than Kim Min-ah.
Jin Min'er looked at Mei Si with a sinister expression. She decided that she must get rid of this bitch.
"Add another 2.5 kilograms!" Kim Min-ah said through gritted teeth!
"Min'er, you..." The coach wanted to persuade Jin Min'er again, but when he saw Jin Min'er's expression, he shuddered and dared not persuade her anymore.
Coach: Let's just leave it at that, since she's Xinyou's sister.
Kim Min-ah was already feeling discomfort in her lower back, and this time the barbell was too heavy. She had to use all her strength to barely lift it.
Kim Min-ah's face was flushed and her whole body was trembling. Everyone present could see that she couldn't hold on any longer.
Sure enough, before the time was up, Kim Min-ah released the barbell, which fell and hit her shoulder.
Medical staff rushed over with a stretcher and carefully laid Kim Min-ah on it.
Kim Min-ah turned her head with difficulty to look at Mei Si not far away.
When Mei Si saw Jin Min'er looking at her, she smiled and made a throat-slitting gesture at Jin Min'er.
Jin Min'er's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. She was about to get up and punch Mei Si when the medical staff pressed her back down.
