Chapter 339 Finalizing the Cooperation

Chapter 339 Finalizing the Cooperation

"Hengxin projects are divided into three main phases: early planning, mid-term implementation, and late-stage operations," she said, pointing to different parts of the chart with a laser pointer. "Our core competitiveness lies in our innovative financing model and flexible management structure."

Fu Qichuan nodded, his eyes focused.

He continued to ask pointed questions, trying to find loopholes in the plan.

“If there are sudden market fluctuations, how will you respond?”

“What are the risk control measures for key partners to withdraw?”

"Why can the investment return period be shortened to 18 months? What is the basis?"

Every question hit the nail on the head, but Ji Wan handled it with ease and gave flawless answers.

She knew every detail of the project and could give convincing explanations no matter how difficult Fu Qichuan tried to make things difficult for her.

Chi Wenyan sat aside, and although he didn't say anything, the admiration in his eyes became more and more obvious.

He noticed that although Ji Wan appeared calm on the surface, she would unconsciously check her phone from time to time, and it was obvious that something was bothering her.

"Regarding risk control," Ji Wan continued, "we've designed a triple safeguard mechanism. First, diversified financing channels; second, periodic evaluation and adjustment; and third, a flexible exit mechanism. This ensures that even in the worst-case scenario, investors' losses can be kept within acceptable limits."

Fu Qichuan nodded thoughtfully. "That's a very comprehensive consideration. So, if the project exceeds expectations, do you have a strategy to deal with sudden growth?"

"Of course," Ji Wan smiled slightly. "We've reserved 15% flexibility so we can quickly expand or contract without affecting the overall structure. Furthermore, we've prepared an acceleration plan so we can immediately initiate the second phase if the market response exceeds expectations."

A hint of satisfaction flashed in Fu Qichuan's eyes, and he exchanged glances with several assistants present.

"Ms. Ji, I have to say that your proposal is excellent." Fu Qichuan put down the pen in his hand. "To be honest, I originally had reservations about the strength of Chaosheng Company, but your performance today has changed my mind."

Ji Wan nodded modestly, "Thank you, Mr. Fu, for your affirmation."

"In that case, I don't think there's any need to delay any further." Fu Qichuan made an unexpected decision. "I agree to sign a preliminary cooperation agreement. The specific details can be further negotiated by our teams."

Applause broke out in the conference room, and Ji Wan's colleagues all showed joy on their faces.

This is the result of their long-term efforts, and they have finally been recognized.

"Thank you, Mr. Fu, for your trust," Ji Wan said calmly, "We won't let you down."

Fu Qichuan stood up with a smile and said, "I look forward to our cooperation. There happens to be a business forum in Kyoto next week. I hope you can attend and showcase this project to more potential investors."

Ji Wan nodded in agreement, but a hint of hesitation flashed in her eyes. Just as she was about to speak, her phone vibrated again. She glanced at it and saw it was still a message from Jing Nanxing: "Aunt Hua is not in good condition. The doctor recommends that the family come as soon as possible."

Ji Wan's heart sank, and he could no longer ignore the anxiety in his heart.

"Mr. Fu, I'm sorry, my mother is in a nursing home now and doesn't seem to be in good condition. Can I take my leave and go see her first?" Ji Wan asked directly.

Fu Qichuan was a little surprised, but quickly nodded in understanding, "Of course, the health of my family is the most important thing. Our cooperation has been reached, and other details can be discussed another day."

"Thank you for your understanding," Ji Wan said gratefully. He then turned to Xia Guoguo and said, "You and the other colleagues should confirm the contract details. I'll go to the nursing home first."

Xia Guoguo nodded, "Don't worry, Sister Wan, we'll take care of it. Is your mother okay? Do you need me to go with you?"

"No need, I can go by myself." Ji Wan hurriedly packed up his things.

"Let me take you there," Chi Wenyan suddenly said, "I'm going back to the city too, so it's on my way."

Ji Wan looked up at him and hesitated for a moment, but considering the current emergency, he nodded and agreed, "Thank you."

After saying goodbye to everyone, the two quickly left the meeting room.

"Where is your car?" Ji Wan asked hurriedly.

"Stop at the entrance of the villa and follow me." Chi Wenyan led the way, his steps steady and fast.

Soon, they came to a black Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Chi Wenyan opened the car door and Ji Wan got in quickly.

"Where is the sanatorium?"

He started the car, his voice asking calmly.

Ji Wan reported the address and then called Jing Nanxing, "Nanxing, I'm on my way. How is Mom now?"

"Ah Wan, Aunt Hua is a little more stable now, but she keeps asking about your father and is very emotional." Jing Nanxing's voice continued from the other end of the phone. "The doctor has given her some sedatives, but they are not very effective."

"I'll be there soon, please hold on a little longer." Ji Wan hung up the phone and sighed deeply.

Chi Wenyan stepped on the accelerator and the car accelerated. "What happened to your mother?" he asked with concern in his voice.

"She suffers from a mental illness, and her condition fluctuates." Ji Wan explained briefly, "Sometimes she loses control of her emotions, and she needs someone by her side."

Chi Wenyan nodded, without asking any more questions, and focused his attention on the road.

The car drove through the city and sped towards the suburbs.

About forty minutes later, they arrived at the nursing home.

Before the car stopped, Ji Wan opened the door and jumped out, followed closely by Chi Wenyan.

In the corridor of the sanatorium, Jing Nanxing paced back and forth anxiously.

Seeing Ji Wan, he immediately came forward and said, "Ah Wan, you are finally here."

Jing Nanxing is a tall young man with a handsome face and a firm and gentle look in his eyes.

He glanced at Chi Wenyan behind Ji Wan, revealing a hint of doubt, but quickly turned his attention back to Ji Wan.

"Where is Mom?" Ji Wan asked anxiously.

"In her room, the doctors and nurses are there, but—"

Before Jing Nanxing could finish his words, a scream came from the end of the corridor.

"Get out of the way. I'm going out to find him." It was Hua Ying's voice.

Ji Wan's heart tightened, and he immediately ran towards the sound. At the end of the corridor, Hua Ying was struggling to rush out of the room, and two nurses were desperately holding her back.

"Mom." Ji Wan shouted loudly and quickly ran to Hua Ying.

When Hua Ying saw her daughter, a glimmer of clarity flashed in her eyes, but it was quickly replaced by confusion. "Wanwan, you're here. You know, your father is waiting for me. I have to go find him."

"Mom, Dad is gone, do you remember?" Ji Wan tried to comfort her with a gentle but firm tone.

"No. He is waiting for me." Hua Ying suddenly burst out with amazing strength, broke free from the nurse's control, pushed Ji Wan away, and rushed towards the door of the sanatorium.
